Born in Detroit, Michigan the home of Motown Ms. Allaire studied Interior Design and Dance at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo where the Fusion of architectural and theatrical lighting sparked her interest. R A L D choreographs memorable spaces by enhancing finishes with light, collaborating with the Owner, Architect, Interior Designer, Landscape Architect, Builder and Project Team members. Award winning designer, Rosemarie has worked with prominent architectural lighting design firms throughout the United States before establishing her Dana Point, CA architectural lighting design practice in 2002. Rosemarie has worked on projects all across the United States and Internationally. Rosemarie has been Enhancing Environments with Light since her career began in 1986.

GRAHAM architecture

As an Architect, lighting my projects is so important. No matter how good my design is, if the spaces are not lit properly, the end result can be a disaster. Lighting is key to evoking mood and a good lighting designer knows how to highlight the best features of the Architecture and Interiors. I have collaborated with Rosemarie on many large custom homes over the years and she is a seasoned professional with years of experience. She always works well with Clients and Contractors. I would highly recommend her to anyone look to illuminate a beautiful home, office or retail space.

Lighting designer was engaged to bring creative lighting designs for two levels of our home. Rose Allaire designed our lower level Gym with repurposed office wall lights that created the feeling of outdoor natural lighting.... Brilliant! She chose lighting that adjusts to naturally shift the guests from one space to the next through the house. I enjoyed the process, her choices, the finished product.

We've worked with Rosemarie on several residential projects over the past few years. She has always been a pleasure to work with, her product knowledge, expertise and creativity has illuminated our work beautifully. Most importantly her lighting designs function well. We were able to achieve the perfect balance of lighting with the fixtures she specified in combination with the decorative fixtures that we designed. Lighting designer for a large modernist residential rebuild. Provided complete interior and exterior lighting design. Courteous and professional. Had great knowledge of up to date and innovative lighting products. Resourceful when trying to tackle lighting challenges for specific locations.
