We worked with Stacey on an ambitious addition and renovation of our family home of 17 years. Stacey was amazing, and completely transformed our tired, cramped, dated living spaces (and more!) into brilliant, spacious and clean places for our family (and more!) to gather. As our family and our family members had grown significantly, we struggled with tight quarters and multiple pinch points for circulation. For 2 years we tried in vain to imagine how we could modify our home to make some improvements. Finally, a friend referred us to Stacey. She got to know us, listened, and came up with a brilliant scheme that we had been too timid or unimaginative to see ourselves. She refined concepts with us, asked questions, listened to our input, gave feedback when we needed it, and strived to help us create what we were looking for. As the process went on, we evolved the design together through iterations and discussions. She also helped us work things into the design that we didn't even realize would be so important in the end. Stacey has a magical way of blending her professional eye for design with her clients' opinions and desires. The project involved pushing out a corner of the house to create a new large living room and master suite, and creating a completely new kitchen and pantry in the existing house. Stacey deserves extra bonus points for so seamlessly tying together a more modern addition with our more traditional home with key updates and upgrades.

Over the past decade, we have twice hired Stacey to oversee major phases of transforming the “good bones” of our 1950s house into a 21st Century dream home. Stacey Roeder was the architect for our home remodeling project. I had seen her work previously; she designed my goddaughter's home. I loved her work there and she was highly recommended. Our project needs were quite different than my goddaughter's. Stacey took our wishes into account, and she made excellent design recommendations. My husband and I are very pleased with the results, and we have received so many compliments on the design and layout of our house. I've recommended Roeder Design to several friends. Roeder Design designed an addition on our house. They did a wonderful job connecting the existing house with the addition. We were very pleased with how the new connected with the old, especially with a complicated roof structure. Many people have commented how flawlessly the two come together.

Stacey was a wonderful designer to work with. She listened to our requests and designed a beautiful and functional home that both my husband and I could agree upon. We asked many questions and had many requests as the design process went on. She was always prompt with a response and was willing to work with us on all of our requests. She was knowledgeable on the requirements put in place by the city of Austin and I think she designed a home that fit well in our 1950s neighborhood. I retained Roeder Design to design a guest house on some river property I had acquired. We were so pleased with the outcome we utilized Roeder Design for the main house as well. I was especially pleased with the way Stacey gradually found out our likes and dislikes by walking with us around our old home and interviewing us concerning what we wanted in the new house.
