One way we have accomplished this is by the composing a simple palette of durable materials that shape the design. In our Adaptive re-use projects, we consistently provide a distinctive design integrating the comforts of contemporary living with the older industrial/warehouse character of existing building elements and structure. Utilizing large operable windows and high ceiling that filter natural light throughout the loft, the primary design strategy has been to orient the loft space to look outward to view of the Downtown area. Working throughout the Southeast across ten states, Rob Walker Architects has developed a comprehensive architectural resume of not only Multi-family design, but corporate offices, banks, restaurants, custom homes, retail developments, industrial facilities and healthcare facilities. This broad knowledge base of projects is integral in the expertise required for multi-use developments. Also, the Firm’s experience with the complexities of building codes, historical guidelines, zoning ordinances, permitting requirements, and construction methods found within a Downtown area provides clients a consistent history of excellent service.
