We found Fergus and his team to be not only excellent at their proffession, but most importantly for us, helpful, supportive and human. It's daunting building a house for the first time but so so much easier when you have knowlegeable friends on your side..

Avoid, avoid, avoid. No concern for the client. I wasn't informed that a structural engineers report had a major cost implication which deviated from the planning permission. Unsurprisingly the subsequent tenders were way over budget. I got one phone call after the tenders arrived, when I learned about the structural issue, and a promise to follow up and discuss options. That was almost two years ago, I haven't heard a word since, no attempt to contact me. They had most of their fee, I assumed they couldn't care less if I proceeded or not. Avoid.

We hired Fergus when we bought my mothers 1960s bungalow. It was in need of extensive renovations and redesign , and all on a modest budget. I had first met him at a self build show , which he probably wont remember . He didnt dismiss our project because of budget , which i felt many had .In fact he had a great ' we'll get there ' attitude. We are now back in our home , project finished , delighted with end result , and couldnt recommend fergus and his team highly enough. Whole thing went so smoothly and what we achieved for our budget was amazing.

Fergus Flanagan Architects RIAI organised a complete renovation and extension of my country home. It has been transformed from a dark, leaking bungalow to a light filled, modern two story house. Fergus and Hugh's experience and professionalism took my project from start to finish through the planning and building process. Their advice in the initial design stage and throughout the overseeing of the construction process ensured the the project came in on time and on budget which everyone wants.I have already recommended FFA to friends and family and highly recommend FFA to anyone undertaking a building project. I'm absolutely delighted with my new home.

I have worked with Fergus Flanagan Architects on numerous projects over the last four years. I find them to be very professional and aware of their clients brief. They are enthusiastic about their work, and appear to have very good relationships with their Clients. They encourage the use of modern technologies and the end product is always impressive. I have worked with Fergus Flanagan Architects on various projects over the last number of years. I have always found them to be very professional and easy to deal with, always very help to both myself, as the builder and also to the Clients. They always work to and expect a very high standard of finish on every project whether big or small. I enjoy working with them as they are always innovative and unique in their designs. I would highly recommend this company if you are thinking of extending your existing property or building your dream home.

They are always very approachable and willing to discuss ideas or changes throughout the project. I can only speak very highly of them and look forward to dealing with them on future projects.

Fergus is a solutions focussed professional architect with great imagination, product knowledge and design flair. He designed a courtyard-style extension to our home (which left only the front wall of the house remaining in the final structure). His suggestions were innovative and in-keeping with the design sentiment that we were looking for, and all within our budget- which we really appreciated. A pleasure to deal with and a trustworthy safe pair of hands, he and his team, always had a great way of managing the builders on-site and delivered a wonderful end product and lovely home for us.

from the first meeting Fergus put us on the right path to make our dark kitchen into a lovely bright kitchen / living room space with the extesion design he came up with. The team were very helpful and accessable through out the whole project which made our experience alot less stressful. Dave/Phil.
