Dans un projet d’agrandissement comme celui que nous voulions réaliser, la difficulté au départ est d’être en mesure de visualiser ce que sera le produit final, une fois terminé. Grâce aux judicieux conseils de Mme Ghoche et de sa collègue, le résultat a excédé nos attentes. Nous avons pu compter sur elles, tout au long du processus. Car il y a toujours des moments de doutes, d’incertitudes ou de remises en question. Cette équipe de professionnelles ont su nous guider et nous aider à maintenir le cap. We are working on our residential project with the firm Ghoche Architecte. Our experience is absolutely fantastic ! Ghoche Architect was recommended to us by friends who had commissioned the company to design a large country house in the Laurentians. We needed help re-imagining and designing new fireplaces for our existing country home close by after we suffered a flood there. We lost the two very unique hand-crafted fireplaces we had that were designed by the architect who created and built our house in the late 90's. The fireplaces we had were central to the concept and beauty of the house. They were large imposing wood structures that defined the space between the dining room and the living room on the main floor. and in the basement, beautifully contributed to a second living space there. When we were faced with the challenge of replacing them, we requested from Rita Ghoche that she design something that would be very different. We wanted the new fireplaces to be elegant, more minimal and modern, and in some way, hearken back to the original designs. Through open and always welcomed discussion, Rita skillfully and sensitively perceived our request and created two wonderful designs that are excitingly new but at the same time conceptually very much a part of architectural integrity of the house. We could not be happier. She has since been willingly available and accessible throughout the construction phase, in contact with the contractor when necessary and available to us if we have questions or concerns. She has also answered my design question around other aspects of the reconstruction like tile choices, paint colour, countertops. She is a pleasure to work with. Her sense of design is at once contemporary and clean with great attention to detail, and at the same time elegantly warm. Her concept as an architect is to allow the natural beauty of the landscape to be the primary focus of her work.

Rita and the team at GHOCHE Architecte did a fantastic job on our country/lake home renovation and addition. The approach was very collaborative, thoughtful, methodical and thorough! Avoir à apporter de nombreux changements coûteux aux plans pendant la construction pour se conformer aux codes standard. Des informations clés et des mesures manquantes sur les plans fournis rendent la construction difficile pour tous les entrepreneurs utilisant les plans.

Nous apprécions énormément les services de l'équipe Ghoche, tant en architecture qu'en design intérieur. I contacted Gnoche Architecte to help me with my project to add another apartment to my seven apartments building. It's an old semi-commercial building in bad condition, so this was not an easy task. On my first meeting with Rita, I immediately felt confident about their services. They were always available to answer my questions, and I felt they quickly understood my project. They brought insightful ideas, and I was amazed when I saw the first draft of the plan. I highly recommend them!

Nous avons travaillé avec Rita et son équipe sur deux projets, d'abord sur le plan d'une terrasse sur le toit et sur les plans d'agrandissement de notre triplex. Ils ont très bien compris nos besoins et se sont montrés soucieux de respecter la règlementation de notre arrondissement. Et surtout, nous avons grandement apprécié leur belle créativité et leurs idées pour maximiser l'utilisation des espaces.

Rita designed and supervised the construction of our country home in St Donat (2019-2020). I highly recommend her and her firm. Her ability to listen and respond to our needs /concerns /desires was really appreciated throughout the design and building process. She uses a team and interactive approach with the clients, contractors ,subcontractors and vendors. She is very cost conscious and will suggest multiple options with different price points. She is easy to approach and we always felt comfortable bringing up issues that concerned us. She is a relentless problem solver until a solution is achieved. Due to Covid we were unable to be onsite at any point during construction. Rita supervised the entire build and kept us in the loop and we are looking forward to enjoying our completed house. Anne
