Newcastle builders meet and exceed my expectations for our new home. Rim, Dar, Jason ,Derek, Mimi and every subcontractor did an amazing job. Even through the thick of a pandemic this company was committed to completing our home on schedule. They work with the budget you have and recommend quality products. My husband and I were looking for a modern contemporary building and that is what Newcastle builders delivered. My home looks like a dream inside and out. My family prefers staycations than vacationing at some 5 star hotels. Yes!! It's that beautiful. The team was extremely patient with my many requests and went above and beyond to make it possible. From beginning to end, Rim and his team were professional and courteous. Also very patient with my spouse during the design phase. Any changes to plans were presented up front and there were no hidden costs which you'll find with many builders. If we build again, we will use the team at Newcastle.

My wife and I purchased a spec home that was a few months from completion from Newcastle Homes. Our experience with Rim was very positive from day one. He was professional, thorough and timely in our interactions and correspondence. He has an eye for detail and planned a layout which makes our home extremely functional. I have met others who have done full builds with all good things to say as well. If we ever decided to built a new house, Newcastle Homes would be our first choice.

The brothers, Rim and Dar, that run this operation are unlike any other in the business. Very rarely do you encounter such exceptional service, but I’m pleased to review based on our wonderful experience having closed on our custom new construction home in December 2017. I first want to note I reached out to three other builders: one that never followed up with our original inquiry (Katona), one that responded to our original inquiry but never followed up after we started engaging with questions (Steiner) and one that was very nice but just simply out of our price range based on over the top finishes that weren’t necessary for our lifestyle - though they do incredible work based on their supplies used and finished product portfolio (Klomp). If I had to build again, I’d return back to Newcastle Homes in a second (and you’re not going to get that sort of sentiment from most people who choose to build a new construction). It’s VERY custom build which works for some people (us) who like the flexibility of saving money, altering floor plans and living our Pinterest dreams. The disadvantages of custom build are that 1. Its extremely overwhelming and hard to keep up with, 2. The costs are really hard to manage along the way, especially when you don’t know what it’s going to appraise at and 3. You get to be the designer (though they help if you want), but there’s a lot of risks you take by serving as your own designer and picking out each piece, crossing your fingers it all turns out to look nice together in the end. The appraisal came back well and they even noted the high end finishes and quality work done by the builder. It was the cherry on top for us as we closed. Listen, these guys are a man of their word. Very transparent from start to finish and don’t cut corners. Newcastle Homes is the best new construction builder in northwest Indiana, by far. You won’t be upset. I encourage you to consider them for your new construction home if you want to create your forever home or a one of a kind, creative masterpiece.

I only gave a 5 star rating because there is no 6th star available. Rim, Dar, and Chad are very easy to work with. All of our expectations were met in a timely manner. Our house was build to our satisfaction with a great attention to detail. We will definitely use Newcastle Homes for future projects.

Newcastle built our custom 3000 sq ft ranch home. We are very pleased with the design and the quality of construction in all respects.

We contracted Newcastle Homes to build our first new house. We chose Newcastle based on their reputation and recommendation (they built a relatives home). We had a wonderful experience working with Newcastle Homes, and very happy and excited with the outcome. They helped is with every aspect of the home and made changes/recommendation when we had certain high priority items that we wanted. Everything was laid out for us and the program they use to make interior and exterior selections was fantastic and easy! Project was completed on time and the closing was a breeze. We would recommend Newcastle Homes to anyone that is looking for great craftsmaship and people to work with!

We we're very pleased with Newcastle homes. We have been in our home now for about 6 months and have zero complaints. One thing I was very happy with was the customer service, they always returned our phone calls in an a timely manner and were always available to sit down and go over the plans.

They were both incredibly responsive and attentive during the build process from start to finish, even after closing. Rim’s eye for design and Dar’s engineering background complement each other and the result is a one-of-a-kind custom home. Some of our favorite features include the open-floor concept perfect for entertaining, the natural light through oversized windows, a master bathroom worth drooling over, and the best utilization of square footage. The website portal was very user friendly and provided open communication between the client and the builder. The allowances provided for beautiful finishes and custom selections. Any concern was addressed in a timely manner and resolved to our satisfaction. We would recommend working with Newcastle to anyone looking to build; my parents are now pursuing a project with Newcastle after seeing how successful our experience was.

Newcastle Homes built an amazing house for us that stands out ( in a good way). They were easy to work with and very accommodating to our needs. They were quick to respond anytime I attempted to get a hold of them and took care of things quickly. Rim and Dar make sure that what you need is taken care of.
