Rhonda Knoche Design

It was my first time working with an interior designer but I knew my project needed the expertise a design professional. Using the Houzz database I sorted through designer's portfolios and I narrowed it down to ten, and then to five, and then Rhonda. From my first conversation with Rhonda I knew she was the designer I have been looking for. I find her creativity to be innovative beyond my expectations. She did a superb job of helping me focus on my project and the best options that included space that is prepared for my aging in place. Move a wall here, pocket door there and her design is filled with options I would never have thought of and working with her is stress-free as her experience shows. Rhonda's respect of my modest budget made a big difference too. I have no reservations about referring her to anyone seeking the services of an interior designer.

Rhonda is great to work with.....she’s a whirlwind of energy with great space planning ideas, and a good eye for design. She helped me rethink how to use different rooms better, especially my “everything” room (yoga, tv, office, guest room). I highly recommend her. Rhonda came to do a consultation regarding my living room furniture placement. However, she became a little dynamo and before I knew it had rearranged the room herself! Everyone likes the "new" look and I find it relaxing and comfortable. Thanks so much Rhonda!

Rhonda designed a large master bath remodel for us, as well as created a full house as-built floor plan. Bath is Phase 1. She is fun to work with! She took time to get to know us and the way we live, so those nuances could be incorporated into the design. She brings together the best combination of trend setting style with deep construction knowledge to produce a design that is leading Portland style! Her design is buildable with full consideration of design elements and construction costs. She provided full service, even selecting fixtures, wall and floor finishes. She created a full project spec that we will use to get contractor bids. I would definitely recommend Rhonda!

Rhonda came out to advise on a few areas in our home. She touched on all areas and gave a lot of ideas for storage. She clearly has a lot of experience. The only thing I would of had done was to start on the most important areas first to manage the time better. The ideas were great and she has a good eye with color and spaces. I would recommend her as she’s very talented.

I worked with Rhonda on a basement laundry room and bathroom remodel. Rhonda was exceptionally helpful in moving my project along. We started with one sorta ok plan, based on my ideas, and she tried out multiple options/edits/ideas until in the end we had a truly great plan. She gave me an idea of cost and time commitment and has been right on the mark with both. She is also a font of knowledge regarding products, pricing, sources, and contractors. Rhonda did an amazing job with my bathroom/closet remodel. I had an idea of what I wanted and she designed it far better with so many ideas to save costs. My husband and I both realized how much she saved us (far more than her fees, that's for sure!). In addition she's amazing when it comes to organizing and storage space. She knew the best contractors for the job, stayed with the project through completion and needless to say, the job was done on time and within budget. Her design was so unique and impressive that it ended up in a photo spread in "The Oregonian" on remodels. I highly recommend Rhonda!!

We used Rhonda twice many years ago. She was FABULOUS twice, once when we had a small kitchen and then again when we opened our 1939 kitchen into the dining room. (Which she had suggested originally, and I was too scared to do at the time.) We love our kitchen/dining room today as much as we did when she designed it 15 years ago! The first remodel was great. With the 2nd, she was able to incorporate the huge china cabinet into the remodel it works seamlessly. Trust me, she is intuitive and will do a great job for you.

We contracted Rhonda Knoche for consultation on a kitchen remodel. She did an excellent job of advising us on options of updating the existing room verses relocating the kitchen to an adjacent room. We opted for relocating thanks to her insight and vision.

Rhonda is a talented experienced professional. She is well known and respected in the design community, with many helpful contacts and resources. Rhonda's strong suit is her boundless creativity and inspired designs. She won't disappoint.
