Renee Michael Design did an exceptional job on our interior design project. From our initial consultation with Marla she was very international about getting to know my husband and I, beyond just our favorite color. She listened to us and our ideas. She did an amazing job infusing bout of our likes. The installation process was seamless and the reveal was very special! We love our newly designed space and can’t wait for the next project!

I cannot possibly say enough about Renee Michael Design. After living in self-designed houses for more than two decades, we were a little nervous about working with a designer. After admiring RMD's work for about a year, we finally decided we were ready, and RMD was ready for us! Marla patiently met with us to listen as we completely contradicted each other - one of us wanting a more farmhouse cozy feel, and the other more modern/art deco. We were nervous about so many things - what if we didn't like it, what if the style isn't us, what if it costs too much (I could go on), how could they possibly know us better than we did? Marla very patiently walked us through parting with the old to make way for the new. And I am SO unbelievably glad we did. Even knowing the furniture we had picked, when we walked in and saw the final outcome, our jaws hit the floor in surprise. I cannot believe this room is in our house. We now have a beautiful central space for our family to connect. The furniture is so inviting my teenage boys are not only choosing to sit in the living room, they're snapping pics to their friends. Personal touches abound, from family pictures, to the Rainbow Soul Tree with three branches representing our 3 kiddos and all the color they bring to our world. The room is not only beautiful, it's extremely functional, allowing us to spread out across the room where so much space used to sit without purpose. Simply put, we love everything about it. And I'm already planning with Marla for the next room. This is going to be fun.

We highly recommend Renee Michael Designs if you are looking for interior design needs. They are a dynamic duo that pays attention to the clients needs and very detailed oriented. We were sold at the first consultation with just getting to know the company. We then had an in-person meeting to review needs. After the in-person meeting, Marla (lead designer) created mood boards and sources everything for you. Steve was great to work with also. He created a beautiful board and batten wall that changed our room completely. We are thoroughly pleased with our bedroom refresh!

Renee Michael Design completed a dining room renovation at my home. From start to finish, the team was professional, prompt, and even provided additional support when needed. Our dining room is absolutely beautiful! We cannot wait to have a family gathering in our beautiful new space.

Marla and Steve transformed our living room from a cold space that had a lot of unrelated, uncoordinated pieces to a cohesive, warm and comfortable space that I want to be in as often as I can! Everyone who sees the space makes the same comment: "Wow! The room looks like it belongs in a magazine!" We couldn't agree more. Marla started the process with a thorough needs assessment where she asked questions to learn about our personal style. Then, she built her design around our needs. Along the way, we had multiple opportunities to share input. During the install, Marla and Steve were meticulous in their set up. We trust their recommendations and we couldn't be happier. In fact, we plan to use them for a second room!

From start to finish we worked together and our ideas meshed well. I am absolutely loving the space and the effort that was spent designing the accent wall. The level of professionalism and the attention to fine detail is most definitely a Five Star rating! I highly recommend!
