R. A. M. Home Windows and Doors

I had R.A.M. install new replacement windows throughout my house in 1999. Since then I have had Raymond complete a couple of other door and window installations as well as look after warranty work on the original windows (broken seals). In the almost 20 years that I have dealt with R.A.M., service has always been courteous and reliable and the work completed as quoted. He stands behind his work and his products and the work is done professionally and cleanly with no fuss or drama. I will not hesitate to use R.A.M. in the future and am comfortable recommending this company.

We had the living room and dining room windows replaced in November 2016. Ray made measurements ahead of time and explained the whole job, as well as the payment schedule. When the time came, Ray and his team were at our house with everything ready. They were professional, efficient, fast, and careful in tearing out the old windows and part of the wall. Job was done the second day and for the price quoted - about 7,000 dollars. Very good experience overall. Would hire the company again.

Approximately 25 years ago we had Raymond install all new windows throughout the house. RAM had been suggested to us by people we knew and we also spoke with some of RAM's past clients to get their input. We have never regretted hiring Raymond. His was professional and his work was excellent. We have not regretted dealing with his company. We highly recommend Raymond.

We had large windows replaced at our entrance by R.A.M during November 2016. They did not only have a very good price, they did a very thorough and quality job. They are also very knowledgeable and make very good suggestions. We are very happy with the quality of the windows and the job they did, and we would recommend them very highly.

I hired RAM to install two patio doors at our townhouse in Ottawa. I am very satisfied with the job which was done pretty well on schedule and at the agreed price. RAM was able to fix another window at this home which had been giving us problems for some time. This is the second job that was done by RAM at this home and I would certainly call upon RAM in the future for any window or door problems.

I hired Ray to install a master bedroom window last fall. I chose him instead of other big window companies like Verdun because I like the fact that Ray does the estimate and the installation himself. I don't like to deal with sales people one day and see someone else I don't know for the installation. Ray and I had many email exchanges initially since I didn't know a thing about installing windows and couldn't decide on the design. But he was very patient and professional throughout the whole process. Installation itself was a breeze. I didn't even have to clean up. The bedroom was left with not a single trace of debris. I would definitely recommend Ray to everyone I know who needs windows.

I have worked with Ray twice now. The first time was a front entry upgrade, where he removed the old entry and installed a new double door. Throughout the entire process he was very helpful and never did he press for us to close the deal. Also, he was the only contractor who even entertained the idea of a double door. When the door was received he came to do the install and was meticulous during the removal of the old entry and the installation of the new taking great care to ensure everything was just right. It has now been over a year and the door works as well as the day he installed it. The second time was this past summer, I had him replace an old wood window in a shower. Once again, he provided the options that were available for this type of installation without pressuring us to do anything. The install was done beautifully and the window is a huge improvement. If you are looking for an honest, skillful tradesman who is a pleasure to work with, who knows his craft and takes the time to do the job right then you will find value for money with R.A.M. I will be calling him again when I'm ready replace any other doors or window. Thank you Ray!

I had R.A.M. install some indoor doors and a beautiful beveled glass patio door in 2000. The patio door framing needed some repair in the spring of 2016 and was very pleased with the results. Would definitely recommend R.A.M. for timely and quality workmanship.

It was a pleasure dealing with this company. Ray provided me with a screen door for our new build. His information pamphlet included prices so no back and forth emails, he is honest and discussed all costs upfront as my door was an irregular size. He did not try to sell up the product with additional options. He accommodated me with my preferred date of installation and was very thorough with the installation and adjustments of closing speed. I am happy I gave RAM my project. I wish all contractors were as reliable and efficient.
