Looking at retirement and downsizing presented challenges with less square footage while still keeping furnishings that I value. It was important to me to have space to entertain without feeling cramped. Deborah had ingenious solutions to storage issues and arrangements that made sense for the space. The outcome was a cozy, warm and inviting home that my friends and family love to visit. My only regret was not contacting Deborah sooner! I not only love the end result but the entire process of working with her was most enjoyable.

Deb helped put the finishing touches on my condo to make it more welcoming and homey. Before her recommendations, I didn’t know what was missing. Highly recommend!

I've worked with Deb at Innergized Designs for about 5 years, on various projects. She staged a home for me about 2 years ago and it sold immediately. And she staged it mostly with items I already had! She's also helped with a kitchen and a bathroom remodel, as well as just offered her advice on many things along the way. That's the best part...she will come over for an hour and just bring clarity to any number of design questions I have (eg should I use this paint color or that one on this?). Her rates are very reasonable, so I can afford to have someone there to help me with anything/everything. Just makes life a bit easier.

I hired Deb to help with decorating my new home. I am not good with colors, design, etc. I needed help with furniture placement, window treatments, and colors. She was excellent. She gave me many excellent ideas that saved me time and money. She has helped me stay within my budget. In fact, many of the things she suggested were budget friendly, but look like they cost more. She is conscientious and a true professional. I plan to continue using her services.

Deb and I have worked on several projects for her clients. She always has her customer's best interest at heart and works diligently to get me the information I need to be able to help with the window treatments for her clients. When my wife & I needed help with window coverings along with general interior design help, we found Innergized Designs through Angie's list. All reviewers on that site spoke highly of Deborah Rae, based on which we contacted her. Deborah took the time to talk to us to understand what we were looking for & our preferences when it comes to interior design before providing us suggestions & guiding us as we sifted through the options. She was very patient throughout the process as we - design novices - deliberated the options available to us, all along providing timely & valuable guidance to help us make choices. In addition to guiding us on color schemes, fabric choices, etc., she also introduced us to furnishing manufacturers that she had good prior experiences with. along with providing information on when they typically have sales, etc.,. When she heard prices local installers were quoting to install the window coverings, she had an acquaintance of hers do the job for a fraction of the cost for us. When we had trouble getting the manufacturers to respond to changes we wanted after placing the order, Deborah intervened & ensured they accommodated our needs. We truly appreciate the numerous times Deborah & Todd went above & beyond what they were required to do to make sure we were happy with our project, every step of the way. I highly recommend Innergized Designs not only for Deborah's knowledge of interior design but also for the importance she places (& practices) on customer service including ensuring we stay within our budget.

I needed to refresh the appearance of two apartment buildings - interiors and exteriors, and Deborah did a great job of recommending what needed to be done. I had a lot of questions along the way and she made it all work. Very pleased!

I would highly recommend Deb. She's down-to-earth and tries to incorporate my style into her recommendations, as well as use the things I already have in my house! She helped me remodel a kitchen in Erie and remodel & stage a house for sale in Louisville. The Louisville home sold immediately and all the potential buyers commented on how beautiful the staging was. And...she used mostly things we already had on-hand. She always seems to make time for me when I think I have an urgent situation (you know...I can't make a decision on something). She takes care of me as a client!

I began working with Deborah at Innergized Design a few years ago. In the past she helped with selecting colors,lighting, finishes and new furnishings. She is very good at explaining design choices so that I can envision it myself. Very talented could not have been more pleased either results.

Over the years of owning our home, we had spent many hours and dollars trying to get that “just right” feeling. However, it still didn’t feel like it had all come together, or that we were getting everything we wanted out of our home. We initially hired Deborah on the recommendation of a friend, and have consulted with her on several projects since then. Most recently we used Deborah on our kitchen remodel, and couldn’t be happier with the results. From the first meeting, Deborah was easy to work with. We were not looking for a designer to come in and design our home to march their tastes. We wanted someone who could help us realize our vision, and that was what Deborah was able to do perfectly. She has helped us redesign many areas of our home, including the kitchen, living room, family room, and master bath. Deborah listens carefully to what we want and askes intuitive questions to get a real understanding of our lifestyle and tastes. She was so creative and helpful every step of the way. She was even able to bring new life to some things we thought did not work for us anymore. With the money we saved by re-purposing items we already owned, we were able to buy higher quality pieces and materials that tied it all together. We love the new colors, lighting, materials and layout. She also improved the function of our home, which is a key for our lively family of five. Our friends and neighbors are always commenting how much they like our home and we did not get this kind of feedback before Deb. Bottom Line: We really enjoy working with Deb and the results are fantastic. She brought energy, flow and warmth that were missing. We get more use out of our home and spend more time enjoying it as well. We will soon be moving into a brand new house, and will definitely be using her skills again as we tackle that blank canvas. My main regret is that we didn’t hire her sooner.

Deb’s work is exceptional. I have worked with her on several projects and cannot speak highly enough of these experiences. Initially, I was reluctant to hire an interior designer, but Deb’s manner and approach set her apart from the other designers I had spoken with. In its mission statement, Energized Designs outlines a value for a holistic approach to color and design, and Deb certainly proved to embody this sentiment. She made me feel that it was not simply about providing a service— selecting wall colors, furniture, etc— but also ensuring that I was happy with my living spaces. Deb made sure I felt my home was not limited to its aesthetic appeal, and that it was a creative, functional reflection of myself. I found this elevated transformation to my living space had a huge effect. The complete redesign affected how I felt about being home. Without the odds-and-ends projects lingering overhead, and the dissatisfaction of how rooms looked—and felt— incomplete, I was much happier to be home. The rooms, fresh with new color, had a warmth and energy that I hadn’t noticed was absent. Furthermore, I was incredibly impressed with Deb’s balance of imagination and practicality. She was able to help me maximize storage space in the master closet and, even better, help create an inspiring work space, free of clutter. Above all, Deb is passionate and her warm and relaxed nature makes the entire process of “beautifying” a home far more enjoyable. You would be hard pressed to find someone who is a greater pleasure to work with than Deb.
