One star because there isn't a 0 stars or a minus option and unsurprisingly there's no ability to leave a review on this ironically named company's website, because if I could, I would. Avoid this company like the plague. We purchased a house in 2017 that this company had recently finished the "development" of for the former owners; looked amazing, on the face of it. Within week #1 our own electricians had to be called out, who suggested we sue Progressive; live wires had been left in an airing cupboard, other stuff wasn't even wired in ... four years down the line and we're looking to have all the oak and stone flooring pulled up downstairs as the underfloor heating has been leaking; it never worked in various rooms from day one and has now stopped working in all but one room. The utility room floods.
We found old windows boarded over with a bit of chipboard; external panelling improperly treated rotted off; one entire end of the fascia had to be removed/replaced, beneath which we found the boarded up window. Two of the upstairs bathrooms leaked so badly in month #3 of us being here that it was coming through the ceiling and into the alarm system directly below one, and the other into the dining room. Progressive had tiled every working thing in and so three sets of bathrooms had to have whole runs of pretty expensive tiles removed/smashed to get at the plumbing behind, which transpired to be the very cheapest that B&Q had to offer. The solid wood and glass patio bi-fold doors (a run of considerable height and weight) actually fell off, yes, fell off, within the first few months of arriving here, and out onto the patio. Only when threatened with legal action did Progressive send someone out to put the doors back on ... which then fell off again. The fuse boxes had to be removed and replaced/upgraded as they kept blowing and weren't up to the load, and some clown had labelled the fuses up for a pool, a sauna, a gymnasium ... none of which exist here, or have ever existed here. "Fitted" kitchen cabinets have holes in the back of them that the local wildlife like to use to enter and exit the property and, one of my personal favourites, and much to the astonishment of the guys at British Gas, who we are now on first name terms with, was, & after repeated call outs as to why there was zero water pressure, Progressive's contractors had fitted a shower pump in upside down; the thing actually has a sign on it with an arrow saying "this way up". The list of this company's "accomplishments" here is astounding, and what's more astounding is that they're still trading.
