Premier Window Coverings

Premier Window Coverings installed some beautiful shutters in the dining room of my house built in 1911, and the customer service was flawless from start to finish. For one, they actually did what they said they would do, every time I spoke to anyone. They were never late, they followed up, returned phone calls when needed, delivered on time and I ended up with a beautiful product that exceeded my expectations. I even received a call from the owner on a day the business was closed, just to update me on my order! It was a little difficult to find the right border to fit in my old windows and both the designer that came out and the installer were dedicated to finding the right solution and making sure I was happy with the end product. I can't say enough good things about this company and will continue to use them for any window coverings in the future.

Premier Window Coverings is my "go to" store for window coverings including, Hunter Douglas shutter and shade products, and custom draperies. The staff is very knowledgeable and the installers are top notch. Attached is a photo of some shutters installed in my client's living room. They had several special requests regarding installation and "hinging" and were very happy with the final result.

Premier Window Coverings recently reupholstered a vintage sofa for me. Lynn Lapping interviewed me about fabrics and style over the phone, then brought a totally appropriate batch of fabric samples to my apartment. We immediately found the perfect fabric. The only problem was that the job was delayed when the upholsterers had a problem with the fabric and it had to be reordered, delaying the job significantly. Now that I have the sofa, it seems to be the first thing that new visitors comment upon when they visit me because it is the perfect fabric and the job is well done. I am happy with Premier Window Coverings and would use them again.

The first call I made in 2002 after receiving the keys to my new home was to Premier Window Coverings in Portland, Oregon. That was just the beginning of a very long and happy relationship. Initially I decided to do the entire house in the same window covering. As time went on I wanted to make some changes but had no idea what I wanted to do. Premier’s designer came to my home and helped me do one room at a time. Always offering excellent choices and recommendations I would never have thought of. When I added a sun room I needed 10 new shades, all different sizes. Each one fit perfectly and keeps the room cooler in summer and warmer in winter. I also had a beautiful drapery rod made for a very large bedroom window. Just last month I replaced the last of my window coverings with Plantation Shutters in my living room. Now each room is unique and I could not be happier. The Premier staff is always available to answer questions, their delivery time is excellent and their installers are experts in their field. They stand behind everything they do and the quality of their products and service is surpassed by none.

Essentially I though they were exceptional professionals, blinds are beautiful, and they were a great value. They also checked in on me afterwards to make sure everyone was perfect! I was a little rough with one of the blinds and they came over as soon as they could to fix it at no cost! Incredible!
