Premier Pools, Spas & Waterfalls

Critical: Punctuality, Responsiveness Craig Bryan Kachadourian (License # CPC1457756) is a FRAUD. We hired Premier Pools, Spas and Waterfalls 2 years ago and back then Craig told us it would take him about 5 months to complete our pool. LIAR!!! It took him almost 2 years and to this day he still owes us some equipment and labor. He took our money to buy equipment and then spent it elsewhere. It took him over one year to slowly bring in the equipment he owed us piece by piece. For the 10 years of pool building experience he has he made many mistakes that were mind boggling. Luckily we stayed on top of it and caught his mistakes. Nevertheless, it was the worst decision to hire him. He has caused us 2 years of intense stress, many arguments and headaches in dealing with him. Unfortunately we wanted to believe his excuses and tried to be as understanding and patient as possible. Mistake! For weeks he has ignored our plea to finish this project and it seems like he has no intention to get it done. Do NOT trust him!!! He will make false promises. He will ignore phone calls, emails and text messages. He will make up excuses and tell you what you want to hear. He has very poor management skills. His pool building skills are questionable. Even people he works with will tell you that he does a poor job and they get frustrated with him. He does not pay his workers on time. Be careful doing business with him!!!

I contracted with Craig and Premier based on a family friend's recommendation. I am glad I did. He was extremely helpful in providing me with all the options I needed to simplify my pool mechanics and changing out the control unit for a new Jandy remote system. In one short day Craig and his team had removed my 17 year old pool system controls and installed a new system. He was also able to remove one of my pumps which was redundant and re-route the flow of the hot water from the pool heater thru the jets in the pool instead of as it was previously setup, all from the spa. I bought my home back in September and have been unable to really enjoy using the pool because I didn't know how to control any of it. I now have the pool heater on automatic thermostat, time of day programming and all functions including lights, spa, bubbler, drains, etc. are controlled from a neat little remote device by Jandy. Very happy with Craig and his work!

I had a very bad experience with his company, and regret the day I selected them for my job. I hired them on December 7 of 2014 to refinish my inground pool. They were not the cheapest, but they seemed professional, and were highly recommended by a friend who had his new pool built by them. I asked how long it would take, and Craig, the owner, said it would be 6 days of work. He said he was not sure he would be able to finish by Christmas, since all their clients wanting their projects done before the holidays. I asked if they would be done before the end of the year, and he said "for sure". . Thy did the demolition the following week, finishing on December 16. They left most of the debri on my patio. The next step was to put on the tile, which they did mid-January, over a month later, after cancelling twice, and me having to send them texts and calls twice a week. During that period, my patio was full of debri, and the pool had 2 inches of green water. The next step was to plaster. After having to call and text almost every day, they came to plaster on January 30. They installed new LED lights, and finally, took out all the debris. The next and final step was to put in scuppers/spouts on the wall and handholds. Since they 1, I asked Craig to send me to options for the scuppers about 15 times. He never found them, so I had to look for them and buy them myself. He wanted to get paid in full, but I refused and ended up owing him a small balance. Craig came by on February 16 to look at the scuppers I had bought... and never came back. I got tired of calling him and writing to him, so I installed the scuppers myself. I never got the warranty cards for the lights (these are $500 each), the scuppers installed, or the handholds. I wanted to avoid a fight in case I had a warranty claim later on, but I figured if they did not even come when they had to finish and I still owed money to them, they would much less come when I had a warranty claim and there was no money to be made. The quality of the job was sub par. The tile and coping was good, but the plaster does not have consistent color throughout. After they plastered, they told me I had to brush the pool every day-- I don't have time for that, that is their job. Also, I do not know if they did the restart of the pool correctly (my pool guy says they did not, but I can't judge that).
