Residential interior design, space planning, home staging, e-design (long distance design projects). Specializing in traditional /transtional style- I design with the client's everyday life in mind. I ask a lot of questions up front about who, how and when the space will be used, and whether their household includes children and pets. I do ask a lot about your budget, too, and if you have any clippings or Houzz or Pinterest images you like. My clients find I am a good listener and bring ideas to the project they may never have thought of. And... I absolutely love what I do!

We worked with Kay on our restaurant project. She was amazing! Being our first experience working with a designer, we were not sure what to expect, Kay took great care of us! She went to stores with us, created boards to put the ideas together so that we could see them and she worked within our budget. We are constantly getting positive feed back about the look and feel of our restaurant and we are always happy to give Kay the credit she deserves! Her style and personality are amazing! We couldn't recommend her enough!!

My husband and I have worked with Kay Crowson Rasoletti on a wide range of projects over the past 10 years including several projects in our former Cape Cod home. The most recent project, however, was a remodel of the living room in our urban condo. Kay developed a design plan and then helped us select art, rugs, a new sectional, and fabric for throw pillows and chair reupholstery. She used a variety of methods to help us finalize decisions. She referred us to specific retailers and wholesalers (eg. Art work), brought samples (eg. fabric) to our home and she met us at suppliers (eg.rugs). She was on site to arrange the final touches including specific guidance on how to hang our pictures and artwork. I have been impressed with Kay's design range over the years from traditional to contemporary. In addition to Kay's impeccable taste, I have appreciated her practicality and sensitivity to cost. The process of working with Kay is a pleasure and we are thrilled with the results. I wholeheartedly recommend Kay Crowson Rasoletti.

Kay is a very talented designer! She has creative solutions and fresh ideas for classic design. I have worked with Kay on all aspects of my living room, powder rooms, dining room and sunroom. Kay was invited to suggest alternatives to our client for her kitchen/family space while my company re-designed and installed the adjacent walk-out terrace. Kay quickly generated a proposal including photo printing, drapes and detailing, lighting components and various small accessories. Kay was efficient, friendly, prompt and creative, and we will certainly be inviting her to work together with our team again soon.

Kay has helped us with many aspects of our home. She has helped with finishing a remodeled kitchen in order to add those final details to make it all come together. She has also help with our family room in the same way. We ended up with a very unique space that feels right at home for our family. Kay has also worked with us on several future plans. She has designed a master bathroom remodel and a fresh look for our living room and dining room. She always hits the mark. She knows our style and always finds a way to beat the image in our heads.

Kay really paid great attention to what I was hoping to find for the dominant fabric in our two room project. This was the main theme that wove the master bedroom and reading room together. Once we found the desired fabric (which I still love equally as much a few years later), the rest fell into place so easily with Kay's great suggestions and "eye" for details and accessories. It turned into a lovely retreat for my husband and I, and still looks soft and nicely updated after a few years. The cost was slightly more, as we added an electric fireplace to be installed in the middle of our existing built-in bookcase, but we are happy to have added that. Even though the project took longer to be completed, we were very satisfied with the final results.

Kay is so talented. I loved working with her. She has an eye for detail and design for your space. She has helped me on several occasions; at three homes. From redesigning several rooms, to rearranging furniture and updating your overall look for your entire home, Kay Crowson Rasoletti is the designer to choose. You won't regret it! She is a wealth of knowledge and has such an eye for design! Kay is not only talented, but honest, fair, and delightful! I will always contact her when I need Interior Design help.

I was in the final stages of decorating my house and got stuck when it was time to do the formal living room and needed advice. I had certain elements such as a fire place, family antiques and and green chairs that I wanted to incorporate and couldn't figure it out. I spent hours talking to other decorators and none seemed to care because my "job" was small and mostly consulting work. Working with Kay was the opposite experience. She visited my house one time (I'm in Wisconsin) and over the phone and web she solved and guided me through paint, carpet, trim, furniture, accents and placement. It was just like magic how fast and perfectly everything just fell into place. Kay saw my room with a clear vision and had wonderful ideas that never occurred to me. She embraced working with certain things I already owned and wrapped everything up into a lovely room. Thank you Kay!

Kay helped me redecorate my living room. She has a great sense of style and was respectful of the budget. She saved me from making a lot of mistakes and was a joy to work with. Will use Kay again for my next project!
