Pierce carries quality brands which many are hand-made by artisans. We are proud to offer and support such authentic and exceptional vendors and our customer’s appreciate the heirloom touches in their homes. The challenge however is that over time, selected “living finishes”, will most likely change color due to wear, and in many cases resulting in the desired aesthetic. Our displays are no exception to wear. To add to the complexity, manufactures often change their finish formulas in production when necessary. We try our best to notify customers when we expect a color variance to our displays. In a few cases, we can work with a manufacturer on matching their previously used color. In this particular example, our efforts to color match were unsuccessful as only time and natural wear would yield the same appearance as our display.
