If you are looking for great architects for a remodeling project you should consider using Phoenix Architects. My wife and I worked closely with Peter Sandorse and Matt Langis. They came up with four different designs for an in-law addition to our 1925 Dutch Colonial. We are in the process of constructing the design we chose. When competed in the spring it will look like it was always part of the original house. It is a practical and beautiful design. Peter and Matt are technically talented and very easy to work with.

We highly recommend Phoenix Architects. The project we did was a whole hodge-podge of work, ranging from putting a bathroom in our bedroom, to moving our laundry room, and adding a screened porch (with a whole bunch of other stuff in between!). The people at Phoenix are great people….down to Earth, relatable, and understanding. We originally met with Peter (who was great!), but did most of our work with Matt. Matt was responsive throughout the whole process. During the design phase, they listened to our wants/needs and created multiple plans for us to consider. In fact, just during our original walk through, they threw out possibilities that blew our minds! Throughout the construction phase, Matt checked in on the project and kept in touch with us. He was also available to consult with for opinions on paint, fixtures, etc. Overall, working with Phoenix was a remarkable experience. Their professionalism, creativity and responsiveness, made the process both stress-free and enjoyable.

Phoenix Architects designed the 2-story addition to my home in Wakefield. Peter took into account our needs as well as our budget and did such an amazing job - we couldn't be happier with his work or the addition! Our addition was done about 17 years ago and there isn't a thing I would change even to this day! Our addition consisted of a new kitchen, family room and half bath/laundry room on the first floor and a master bedroom with en suite and a full bathroom on the second floor. Peter is such a nice guy, easy to work with and very down to earth. I would (and have) recommend Peter and Phoenix Architects for any size job; he will not disappoint!

Peter Sandrose and team of brilliant people (Matt Langis and Jeff Heger) were fantastic to work with. We were interested in adding onto our 1933 brick tudor style home and were very concerned with how the new addition would look. In fact, we went to them with the idea that it actually wasn't going to be feasible to do what we wanted to do and we would most likely scrap the project and move instead. Boy were we wrong! Phoenix created an addition that truly looks like it has always been there. We have received tons of compliments about the design, everyone comments on how seamless the old and the new blend together. Peter is wonderful to work with, he really listens to what you want out of the space and translates it easily to reality. I also feel they are aware of costs involved in the various ways a layout can be completed. From what I've heard from friends who have done large projects such as this one, that is not the norm. I really enjoyed working with all of the interesting, knowledgable, and professional people at Phoenix, they were only our first step in a long process but their plans were the entire basis for our finished product. I highly recommend Phoenix!

Working with PHEONIX ARCHITECTS over the past several years has been a great partnership. We have collaborated on multiple projects and I value his opinion and years of experience. Peter and his team always seem to raise the bar when it comes to creativity and design. As a designer, it is very important to join forces with an architect I can trust to take my ideas and help bring them to fruition. Peter is that person. He listens and can easily translate my vision. He brings unique ideas to the table and is exceptional when it comes to solving a design challenge. I hope to continue working with such a great team.
