Danbury Ethan Allen, Award winning Design Consultant Peggy has been a design consultant at the Danbury, CT Ethan Allen for several years. She is the recipient of a several Design Excellence Awards as well as four Ethan Allen Gold Spirit Awards and Voted "Best of Houzz 2015 & 2016" for customer satisfaction. Peggy has more than fifteen years of experience in the design business. Prior to joining Ethan Allen, she owned and operated a successful color consulting and design business. Her clients appreciate her no-nonsense approach to design and her passion for creating beautiful spaces. She works closely with clients in a collaborative approach to ensure that their homes reflect their tastes and lifestyles as well as suit their budgets.

We worked with Peggy Fortuna last year and have only great things to say about our experience. We did a major refresh of living room/dining/family room, a project we had been putting off for years as it seemed so daunting. She made the entire process absolutely painless. She has a very enthusiastic can-do approach which instantly put us at ease. Her depth of knowledge, experience, positivity and input were invaluable and she really went the extra mile when necessary. There were a couple of issues (not of her doing) that needed to be addressed, she helped us them instantly and completely. We would work with her again without hesitation and look forward to that opportunity in the future. She is terrific!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about working with Peggy, she always went above and beyond and made our shopping experience at Ethan Allen so wonderful! She played a huge part in helping us furnish our new house, something that often can be overwhelming and stressful was so smooth and enjoyable with Peggy’s guidance and input. We will definitely work with her again on all out future projects!

My experience at Ethan Allen was wonderful. I worked with designer Peggy Fortuna, she was excellent, very professional and knowledgeable. Without seeing our home in Florida, she helped us pick all our furniture, fabrics and our color scheme down to the paint colors. She wasn't pushy and made a lot of great suggestions. We love everything we ordered and our house looks fantastic. We were so happy the first time we came in and placed an order, that we decided to come back when we were ready furnish the rest of the house. She went above and beyond to help us. We will definitely come back again if we need anything else for our home. We highly recommend Peggy and the staff at Ethan Allen Danbury.

Our experience shopping was made extra special by having help from Peggy Fortuna. Peggy listened to our requirements and made several suggestions that changed what we had come in to purchase. I would not have been able to match the cute leather pillow and Retreat sofa without Peggy's help. We are so happy with our purchase that we're only going to work with Peggy in the future. Peggy is a gem. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Had a wonderful time working with Peggy for our new home in Danbury. She made the process so easy and she is the best listener and interpreter. After meeting with us and looking at various pieces in the showroom, she had a great sense of what we like and what would look good. We love our furniture because it's well made and comfortable, but the style really helps create a calm and inviting space. And the fabric she helped us choose for an arm chair, along with the custom throw pillows, really add a nice bit of "zing" to our rather sedate style preferences. The proof for me came while I was on a Zoom call at work and a colleague emailed me to tell me how much she loved the style and design!

I Can't say enough wonderful things about our experience at Ethan Allen Danbury. Working with Peggy Fortuna has been very positive. Peggy really listened to our needs and made suggestions that helped us choose the right furniture for our Living room and Life style. She was available to answer questions. and overall was extremely patient and helpful. We are very much looking forward to receiving our new furniture and we are confident we will enjoy it for years to come.

Peggy is a very talented designer! She listened carefully to my ideas, asked excellent questions, and presented me with a beautiful array of fabrics, furniture choices, and paint colors that worked perfectly. I was truly blown away when she presented me with her suggestions. Peggy is an excellent communicator, very thoughtful and organized. Peggy's eye for color and design helped create a warm inviting space in our new townhome. We love the master bedroom, dining and living room Peggy designed. The furniture is not only elegant, it is extremely comfortable; the blue and gray tones she chose, tie the spaces together beautifully.

I bought my second home in danbury from cape cod to be closer to my daughter and her family. Peggy was fantastic from start to finish. She really listened to My needs and budget. Her knowledge of design and colors is phenomenal. I am so happy with what she picked out for us. She chose the wall colors as well I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend peggy for all your decorating needs!!

Peggy is such a pleasure to work with! She is highly professional and is very competent in all aspects of decorating. I worked with Peggy on re-decorating a few rooms in my home and decorating an apartment in NYC. I love all the pieces she recommended from furniture to rugs, window treatments, and decorative accents. Her taste is impeccable. I would recommend Peggy for any project you have in mind. She is pleasant, responsive and accommodating. Rest assured you will be very happy with her services!

Peggy is that rare combination of professional and friendly, talented and open to suggestions. I met her on the floor of the Danbury Ethan Allen showroom. Using only the description I gave her of a room that was proving difficult for me to finish, she went over to the swatch books and picked out the PERFECT fabric for an ottoman that is now the successful focal point of that room. We have been blessed to work with her on the rest of the house ever since. I highly recommend Peggy!
