Perennial Design Studio

We gave Rachael a tall order to fill - a dream lake house for the family - and the results truly exceeded our expectations. The lakefront property we purchased afforded a wonderful view overlooking Cordell Hull Lake in Tennessee and we asked her to design a 3 bedroom, 3 bath house with substantial loft space for our grandchildren to play and sleep, an open, spacious kitchen/dining area adjacent to a living room we could all gather in - all of which should have ample windows to enjoy the view - a nice stone patio for meals outside, and a covered deck out front to lounge on and enjoy the scenery. We got all of that plus the extra touches Rachael brought to the project that we had not originally envisioned, like including a high deck roof on tall pillars that allowed us a second story wall of glass for a stunning, shaded lake view from the loft and a great sky view from the deck while still being able to sit out in the rain and stay dry, plus it just looks classy. Rachael proved that bringing a professional designer to your project is one of those decisions that you look back on with a huge sense of relief as you admire and live in the finished result because you are reminded of all the features that weren't there when you first had a design in mind and asked for help. Rachael did an excellent job guiding me through a bathroom remodel. We went from a majorly water damaged 1950's style to a modern spa like experience. She is a great listener who worked within my budget, gave me plenty of options, and was always available for any questions. Can't wait for my next project with her!
