Chiam Soon Seng Construction Pte Ltd and its’ sister company Palmwood Pte Ltd have been our choice renovation contractors since we got our first home in 2001. Over the years, both companies have maintained their high quality services and good workmanship. We have engaged them for several projects including renovation of our new home, upgrading of our children’s rooms to cater to their growing needs and rejuvenating my parent-in-law’s 40 years old flat. Every project was completed without hassle and to my satisfaction. With Chaim Soon Seng and Palmwood, I will always have the peace of mind as I am sure that the renovation work will be well managed and delivered on time and according to specifications.

Palmwood is thus far the best contractor I have worked with. Their personnel from the big boss down to the general workers are very professional and are service-oriented. They try their best to match your design ideas with your budget by giving you alternative ways/suggestions to achieve what you want. Most importantly, they are very patient and always there to listen to your concerns about the house. The best thing about engaging the services of Palmwood is that their carpentry work is very good. They are very detailed and would ensure the workmanship is top-notch. And when you engage Palmwood, you liaise with the boss himself thus decisions can be made almost immediately. Vincent is very accommodating and nice - he will reply to your late night SMSs or WhatsApp messages and would entertain your rants about the house calmly. The quotation given is also very realistic and not ballooned to the point that the figure given is way out of your budget. So far we have been very happy working with Palmwood even though we have not had a proper handover yet.
