After careful research i selected Pac Solar to take on my solar power project and I was very pleased with the outcome . Pac solar were very professional in the way they evaluated the options, planned the system, installed it and the way they completed the various regulatory and permit requirements. Everything was done on time and on budget. The process is overseen by Eric Miller who owns the company and I felt all along that I was in very good hands. I recommend Pac Solar 100%. I got 5 or 6 estimates for installation of a residential solar system. Eric Miller from Pac Solar was by far the most knowledgeable and professional of the bunch. He spent a lot of time explaining how solar systems work, designing an appropriately sized system for our energy usage, coordinating with the roofing company and filling the paperwork with PG&E. He was courteous, conscientious, punctual and followed through on everything that he said he would do. I could not give a better recommendation.

Eric Miller and his team at Pac Solar are fantastic. This is the second house that we have installed solar on, so we were familiar with a lot of the ins and outs of a solar install and sizing. Eric was a total professional, straight-forward, pleasant and creative with a design issue. Not a high-pressure sales job like the national firms were offering. Pricing was very competitive. Before you sign with someone, read the fine print on the warranties; what we saw from the national players was just terrible in terms of actually being able to file a warranty claim for roof damage or panel failure. We have no issues and are totally satisfied. We cannot recommend Pac Solar more highly.

I knew that redoing my roof was a perfect time to think about going solar and I started looking at different local solar companies at the same time I was finalizing my roof project. None of solar companies I short listed were bad (I got 3 quotes) and their quotes and options seemed comparable at first. After talking to Eric, I knew that I would be in good hands and I'm really happy of my decision to pick Pac Solar for our project. Eric really went above and beyond in educating me about solar and customized the solar project to my family needs and to our environment (our type of house, the shade from the trees, etc.). He was always available to answer our questions, worked well with the roofing company, helped us get the project financed, explained all the steps, took care of all the paperwork (PGE, county) and the installation was a breeze. No surprise or stress for this project. I will definitely recommend Eric and Pac Solar to my friends and neighbors.

Very impressed with Eric Miller from initial discussion through the installation. We reached out to number of solar providers before choosing Eric and it was evident immediately that he was best in class and provided a differentiated level of service - a fact which was only reinforced throughout the project. Don't even consider a solar install without reaching out to Pac Solar. Eric clearly described the process, costs, benefits, installation and timeline upfront and managed the entire process (pulling permits, installation, working with other contractors, PG&E paperwork and integration, final review, etc.). Great communication throughout and absolutely no surprises or work on our end - in fact the installation was done when we were on vacation and we returned to a fully operational system. Having completed a major renovation a few year ago with many sub projects, I can say without reservation that Eric is an exceptional and differentiated service provider. Would recommend Pac Solar to anyone considering a solar install.

Pac Solar just completed my Solar system– I spent years thinking about it but Eric Miller, the owner, convinced me it was a good time. He's extremely well-versed in the industry, the technology, the in's and outls and has a buttoned up approach to everything. Simply put... he's a pro. The attention I got was very personal and the process was very easy– and I'm not just saying that. He takes care of everything, does it very quickly and when the system was done hands you a notebook that includes all the info, pictures, system design, lots of info, on and on... Finally, I found that Pac Solar's price was better than two other competitors, especially considering the equipment they installed. All said, two thumbs. I could not be happier with my solar installation done by Pac Solar. It was about as easy as it could be. Eric took care of everything; from planning, permits, installation and lots of explanations. Eric was very good about answering my questions and making sure I understood how net credits worked. The final packet I got was very detailed and will be nice to have. Micro inverters are definitely the way to go with color now days and that's what Pac Solar uses. The system is very in-obtrusive in the appearance of my house which is both good and bad. I want people to ask so I can tell them about Eric at Pac Solar.

I was skeptical about getting solar and the affordability. Made several calls to several companies and Eric from Pac Solar made my choice pretty easy. Responsive (1 company I called never called back, the other called almost two weeks later and gave me a hard sell before they even saw my house). The price from Pac Solar was competitive. The process seamless. Communication was awesome. The installers were super attentive and considerate. I wasn't oversold. And it looks like I'll make my money back in 5 years with a fat tax credit this year. Saving money and the planet (or at least doing my part). No reservations.

After doing some research and talking to neighbors with solar systems I had several bids for the job of adding solar to my house. Eric Miller with Pac Solar provided me with an excellent design and a complete proposal. Everything was done on time and exactly as called for in the proposal. The crew did the installation in less then a day, and I was up and running. I am very happy with the quality of the system and the quality of the work.

Don't even think of installing solar panels until you have talked to Eric at PacSolar. From the beginning he was clear, informative and accurate. He gave me a price over a year prior to our remodel and ended up doing the job for less. He answers the phone, comes out and deals with you directly and gets on the roof with his excellent crew. Pac Solar installed a 7.5 kw grid-tied PV system for us in April 2017, just in time for the productive summer months, and it is performing as expected. Owner Eric Miller made 2 visits in preparation for designing the system and made a convincing argument for a microinverters/AC vs a DC system--- a bit more expensive but better response to partial shading and a longer warranty, plus the ability to monitor performance of each panel if needed. The bid was competitive and included all parts, labor, permits, inspections and online monitoring system. I particularly appreciated his extensive knowledge in the field, including the complicated PG&E rate plans and schedules, and his willingness to discuss design options. The crew was very efficient (and friendly) in installing panels and the electrical over 2 days. Pac Solar provides an incentive for referrals, which means that many new contracts come via satisfied customers, such as me. Overall, a very satisfactory experience and I enthusiastically recommend Pac Solar if you are considering a PV system in the extended north Bay area.
