I am an ophthalmologist and started my own practice 7 years ago. I was terrified at first, but I hired Lara to design my office space and it was the best business decision i made! She took the time to get to know me, the kind of work i wanted to do and the clientele i would target. She also knew i was on a tight budget but i wanted the office to look really sharp and unique since it is on the street level and gets lots of exposure. Lara stressed the importance of tying together my marketing materials with the overall interior design so that i projected a consistent and strong image for my practice. She found unique wallpapers and vinyl flooring for my exam rooms and did a great job with space planning. Lara was very professional and got the job done in my very short time frame. I love going to work every day because my office is so light and clean without feeling clinical and i especially love when i get compliments from my patients! My office still looks as great today as it did the day i opened the doors. I attribute part of my commercial success to the aesthetics of my professional space. When Lara moved to Highland Park, Il I was on a house tour at her new home and upon entering the first room, I knew I wanted to hire her for my remodeling in my current house. I have very specific tastes, love pops of color, mixing textures, and ending in a very interesting, clean and modern look. I got that exact outcome hiring Lara. She was great at space planning and had an even better eye when it came to selecting furniture pieces and fabrics. She was always available, responsive, and honest. During this project we began another home in Colorado and again Lara was awesome. Whenever a new friend comes through either home, their first question is always, "Who is your designer". She is a winner!

Lara came into my apartment and immediately suggested physical changes that I never would have imagined. She had clear vision of what needed to be done. She recreated some spaces to be more functional when she did a gut renovation of the kitchen & two bathrooms When she saw my furnishings she repurposed several pieces of furniture & made them more functional.. By making different use of some of the pieces she made them look new & fresh. Lara stayed within budget, & was very efficient, wonderful to work with, punctual. Even after all these years the apartment is as beautiful as it was from the first day. Best investment I ever made!
