My name is Francisco. I purchased all the countertops for my house from Barbara Cutiño with Opustone. Barbara provided me with excellent service during several follow-up visits. She had great patience, assisting my wife and I in selecting our materials. We were also provided with references to local fabricators/installers for the cutting and installation of the countertops. In the midst of a gut renovation and was looking for stone tiles for 2000 sf interior and exterior space, three bathrooms, and kitchen. Over the past 8 months visited more than 15 showrooms and found Opustone to be the best for product selection, display, and customer service. Our sales person, Segundo Diaz, has been very attentive and patient through this process, with a several changes along the way, and need for extension of delivery time due to unanticipated delays in City permits. I would highly recommend him, Given the known variation in natural stone lots, which may not exactly reflect the display sample, we were able to preview and choose the specific lots for purchase. So we knew the look of what was purchased.

Do not use this company. They don't care about delivering the correct product or taking responsibility for it. They sent completely different marble from what I ordered and insist that it is the same and will not work with me to exchange it. I simply want them to take the wrong marble back and send me the correct marble. I had installed the marble in two previous bathrooms and wanted to use it again for a third. I understand that stone lots vary but this is not even the same stone or same color scheme. A stone installer with 40 years experience looked at what I received previously, what is represented on their website and what I just received and he said it is not the same marble. The marble I received is almost all white which is not what is represented on the website nor what I received previously. They are difficult to work with, won't admit their mistake, won't fix the problem and have cost me time and money. Very very poor product and very very poor customer service. They simply don't care.

After further investigation, we've learned that there were some crucial factors that we were not informed of upon the initial purchase. We were not informed by your contractor (who was purchasing on your behalf) that the material was required for a job continuation. Furthermore, the material is known to have a wide range of coloring, veining and patterns, which your contractor was made aware of at the time. Lastly, we have record of the selection being approved by your contractor after images were sent to him to review.

We have also confirmed that we did indeed agree to exchanging the product that you were dissatisfied with, via your contractor. My wife felt that the Veno Grigio Limestone which Opustone delivered varied significantly in coloration from the store sample. Having already invested a week in shopping for kitchen backsplash, I insisted on installing about 30% of the stone on a side wall of the kitchen. Even after experimenting with four different grout colors, she was not happy and the backsplash was removed. I approached Opustone about trading in the unused stone for another selection. The local branch manager advised that returns are against company policy.

Matthew Lax, Julio Rodriguez, and Maribel Pereira have always been very responsive and have always treated all of our clients with the utmost professionalism. When we have high value clients looking for stone materials, our first (and usually only) source is Opustone.

There´s not much more that could be said about Opustone but...5 stars all the way! Customer service? Top notch. Products? Exclusive and simply gorgeous. Logistics? On point. We used their products for our bathrooms as well as some accent pieces inside the house. A must-stop in a stone/porcelain/counter top trip to Doral. UNEKUAL Team

Purchased a mixture of products (quartz, tile, marble) from Opustone. The selection is extensive, the showroom is beautiful, and the staff are helpful. James is professional, attentive, has good design sense, is practical and clearly knows all the products well. He provides practical solutions, as well as cutting edge ideas, if you want them. Selection, price and service are all top notch. I highly recommend Opustone for any project.
