Tal and his team were wonderful to work with! Our project included a primary bathroom full demo & remodel, new oak floors, new kitchen finishes, paint and refinishing, some structural work and general cosmetic upgrades. Communication is such a key factor for me as a designer and he had a great project manager (Victoria!) to facilitate that. They were also all fun to work with! Tal was very involved in the process and his subs were great too. If there were any minor issues or oversights, the team always took responsibility and action to rectify. We will definitely be working with them again in the future!

Tal and his team helped us convert our under used garage into bright, airy modern office space. He guided us every step of the way through the design process and clearly communicated timelines, scope, and costs. Would use Onyx again in a heartbeat.

Onyx successfully completed a bathroom reno that included replacing a bathtub with a walk-in frameless glass enclosure; full tile replacement, walls and floor; and replacement of all fixtures, lights, and mirrors. The work was competitively priced, completed on time, with high quality and transparency, and was properly coordinated. Perhaps most impressively, when the inevitable "hiccups" associated with our design and delivery, Tal and Natalie worked with us to resolve them in what I believe was a very fair manner. Highly recommended.

Tal and his team did an AMAZING job with our master bath and kitchen remodel. It came out better than we ever imagined and they were very professional and attentive to our needs. The communication was great, the crew kept everything clean, and they provided a great experience and made sure everything was perfect. Of course there were some challenges with a 25 year old home but Tal made sure they figured out how to meet our expectations and stay within budget. All I can say is that we will use them again for future projects and if you are looking for an honest and top notch contractor who delivers a quality experience you need to call Tal at Onyx.

We have an adorable craftsman home in Mar Vista from the 1940's. We love the space and location, but the bathroom was tiny, and needed to be updated and expanded. To be honest, the idea of moving forward with a project like this was intimidating. I'm really glad we met Tal. He was so straightforward with setbacks that could come up with moving walls and plumbing in our historic house. Some of the other bids that came in were actually lower, but those contractors didn't seem transparent. They had a 'hope for the best' and 'tell you what you want to hear' kinda attitude, and it just didn't sit well. I'm glad we listened to our gut. We felt really good when demo day finally came because we had a good idea of what was lurking behind walls, and we had budgeted those contingencies in. There weren't real surprises. My biggest piece of advice: You pay for experience!!!! In the end, Tal saved us so much money on working ahead on things that came up.

ONYX just completed a total renovation of our kitchen. We had to start from scratch by updating the electric, plumbing, walls, windows, and floors. It was a huge job, and ONYX took care of the details at every step. Everyday the team would clean up, so we never came home to a mess. Tal and his team were honest, trustworthy, and detailed. My husband and I had very specific ideas about how we wanted our kitchen to be, and Tal nailed it! Tal even coordinated the cleaning team after the renovation was over!

I was referred to Onyx by a much larger company to help me fix a DIY disaster back splash in my kitchen. I reached out via email but due to Covid all of the initial contact was by email/phone. I just got a really great vibe from Tal and I knew he was the right person to help me. After the back splash was complete I asked him for some additional help installing some new lights in my kitchen and laundry room, this required some sheet rock work as well since the old lights left gaping holes in the ceiling. Every worker who entered my home wore a mask and was respectful of my instructions. Even though my project was small, Tal made me feel like it was a priority. Everything was completed in a timely manner and the work is impeccable. It was also super easy to communicate with him via text and he always sent me updates. I would absolutely recommend Onyx / use them again in the future.

We were so lucky to have referred ONYX by my co-worker. The job included a complete remodel on a tricky budget, and timeline. Tal and his team were understanding and patient with our needs and requests, and came up with brilliant idea throughout the entire project! My wife is thinking about renovating our other property this year and there is no doubt about who is our builder - ONYX for sure!!

He really follows through to troubleshoot and solve problems early. Tal was truly a rockstar! We hired him to completely remodel our kitchen, from flooring to ceiling. What should have been a 1 month project took several more due to problems with some of the suppliers and Tal accommodated all of the necessary delays with commendable flexibility and poise. His workmanship was superb, attention to detail was outstanding and his keen eye found little things with some of the products that I never would have seen. Tal even offered attractive, creative and cost-effective ideas regarding the design and products. Communication with Tal was easy and outstanding. He was a pleasure to have in our home as he was totally trustworthy and even won over our puppy who didn't care for strangers. I will definitely hire Tal again for future projects and cannot recommend him more highly!
