For over 25 years, Maria Nanamaker has worked with clients along the CT Shoreline and beyond, to achieve their custom design goals. Great design begins with a comprehensive understanding of the clients’ unique needs and expectations. Maria’s ability to develop client relationships based on respect, trust, and confidence has been the key to her success. Collaborating with the client and different artisans, she takes each project very personally by creating a beautiful design under a variety of budgets, styles, timeframes, and requirements. Maria guides her clients through every phase of the design process and remains committed to cultivating valued relationships in order to reach the best version of her clients' overall vision.Whether classic or contemporary across a range of styles, Maria balances colors, textures, and lighting to create a space that reflects her clients' personalities and suits their design needs. Over the years, Maria has also developed strong relationships with various realtors, who rely on her to stage homes with care, and with the positive outcome of a speedy sale. Staging neutralizes a home’s decor to appeal to as many buyers as possible, regardless of his or her individual taste or style. Maria stages her homes with the latest decor styles to provide a property with a wow factor that will capture and engage buyers. Maria earned her degree at Fairfield University. She lives in Guilford with her husband, Dave, daughter, Emma, and two dogs, Dino and Bridget. When she isn’t decorating, which is rare, she loves traveling the world, collecting shells at the beach, and cooking for her friends and family.
