I am SO glad to have found Brooke! She is talented, collaborative, resourceful, responsive and reasonably priced to boot! She has a good process of building a design plan starting with the artwork for the room and does the legwork to provide you with a a brief presentation with pictures and costs. This is extremely helpful for me for three main reasons: 1) I am a visual person and I need to see how it might come together 2) it is easier to keep an eye on budget at the project level rather than look at cost piecemeal 3) her process helps me focus. We are almost done with my home office and she nailed the polished and serene vibe I needed without breaking the bank. She repainted an old clock that I would have tossed and did some budget friendly DIY framing of the art. In our family room, she even upholstered our bench cushions! I am sure she will post pics when we finish. If you are thinking of hiring Brooke, just do it!

Brooke was terrific in helping us decorate our new Carlsbad condo. She listened to what we were looking to do with the unit and communicated with our real estate rental agent as to choosing the style and types of furniture that we would need to purchase to entirely redesign our condo. We live in Austin Texas and were concerned that we were 2100 miles away from the unit we were decorating. We found out about Brooke Williams with One Real Estate + Design on Thumbtack. We contacted 5 decorators, only Brooke timely responded, which told us right away, that we found the right decorator. The others we selected on Thumbtack took over a week to ever respond and did not seem much interested in helping us with what was an overwhelming project, since we live in Austin Texas. Brooke eased our concerns and was on top of remote Internet technology that allowed us to make our choices on line with her from Austin after we left Carlsbad. She found a great deal on our selection of wood styled tling at ProSource a great price, durable and very Coastal style. She helped us find a top notch tile installer that was willing to pick up and store 750 square feet of tile for 8 months for a nominal fee, an enormous concern for us. Brookfe ound us great discounts at Skylers Furniture in Carlsbad and The Greathouse and Mors Furniture in Miramar. She met us at a convenient time at these stores understanding we had a short window to purchase a lot of furniture. She was also able to view and measure our condo occupied by our not very co operative tenant, before we traveled from Austin to Carlsbad to meet with Brooke, which was enormously helpful for us and which the decorators at The Greathouse refused to do. Their decorators made lots of promises but never followed through. That is when we turned to Brooke Williams with Realty + Decorating, which was a great decision for us. Her measurements of our condo were enormously helpful in our choice in selecting the proper sleeper sofa and diningrooom table, and purchasing and placing our furniture in our 1200 square foot condo. Brooke 's pricing for her services, is more than reasonable and she was able to obtain great and timely furniture discounts for us and convince the merchants to store our furniture for 8 months before delivery, at no cost. That turned out to be an enormous help for us. We are more than pleased with Brooke's knowledge of furniture styles, manufactures, quality and pricing and selecting the right Coastal style furniture for us, that will wear well and look attractive for our vacation rental unit. We were also pleased with her selection of durable and colorful materials, since we were converting our condo into a vacation rental next July. Brooke was always extremely polite to us and promptly followed up on our numerous calls and emails, which was important to us in selecting a decorator. My wife and I enthusiastically recommend Brooke Wiilliams if you are looking for a top notch decorator in the San Diego, Ecinitas or Carlsbad area. You don't need to look any further! Brooke is really someone you would want designing your space. I am very happy with the results I got. I was lucky to stumble upon her website. I was remodeling my master bathroom, I had an idea of what I wanted but no clear direction. Brooke with her skill and knowledge was able to bring my concept into reality. Brooke was a tremendous help in making our new house look like an amazing "custom" home, keeping a keen eye on our "Italian rustic" design theme. Our seller delayed escrow which delayed move in, and we had an extremely short 5-day time frame to prepare for housewarming/blessing. Brooke was fantastic! She listened to what I wanted in a home and she made my vision come to light with the right pieces. She introduced me to wallpaper and now I am obsessed with all the rooms we chose to put wallpaper in. I trusted her and she proved to me she was totally capable of listening to what I wanted and making sure I was happy throughout the entire project. I hired this firm to coordinate bedding and accessories for our Master bedroom. We did everything by emails and phone calls. I sent pictures of the room and the existing busy wallpaper pattern, and they were able to put together a luxurious look for a very reasonable price. They even purchased some of the items for me and sent them in the mail because I live in another State. For the other items I needed to purchase locally, I was provided a detailed list with locations and prices. ONE Real Estate + Design was very professional to deal with and responsive when I had questions.
