We selected them to finish/renovate our ~1,250 square basement, and from the first day to the last, they were extremely patient and consultative with the design and logistics of the project. They showed up every day, on-time and were an extreme pleasure to have in our home. They took the time to explain each step of the process during the project and were very flexible with some scope changes and additions that we made during the process. It was obvious that they are very experienced with these types of projects, as there were no delays, all of the materials were delivered on time, and each of the inspections were seamless. Innovative Home Design & Remodeling, LLC renovated our Kitchen this summer. The craftsmanship and attention to detail was exceptional. This didn’t happen by chance. We were guided through the various project options that we had by Dan Carr. He presented the various product and installation options that we had in a way that was informative so that we could make the best selections . He provided us with recommendations based on his extensive experience but made sure that we were educated consumers. The customer service was exceptional. Everything was done to make sure that the job was minimally disruptive and convenient for us. There was always close supervision of subcontractors and product deliveries. Barriers and floor coverings were used to protect the non-work site areas from dust and debris. Disruptions to the rest of our house were minimized. We don’t often write service reviews but we were so satisfied, we wanted to encourage others to consider Innovative Home Design & Remodeling, LLC. The pricing of the work was competitive. This was a high value return on cost. Not only would we recommend this contractor but we used them for two additional remodeling jobs- finishing our basement, and adding a basement powder room. Innovative Home Design & Remodeling remodeled my 40 year old kitchen that required a fair amount of work to bring it up to code and the 21st century. His knowledge, professionalism, and quality of work is outstanding! Dan thought of every detail and worked hard to find solutions to any "surprises" he and Kevin encountered. He communicated every step along the way and listened to my concerns. Prior to this remodel my kitchen pipes would periodically freeze. When the kitchen was gutted Dan spent TWO days in my crawl space looking for the source of the air leak. Because of his efforts he found the source and the problem has been resolved! I interviewed numerous contractors and Dan was the only one willing to give me a detailed budget. The worksite was cleaned daily and every effort was made to minimize containing the construction site debris. Dan and his crew are top notch. They respect your home as their own. The work place is always kept clean and organized. Communication is backed up with detailed written work plans. When Dan and his guys are working in my home the craftsmanship is second to non. They work well with other contractors and maintain a strict schedule. This was our second experience with Innovative Home Design & Remodeling. They delivered beyond expectations on both occasions. These professionals were exactly that. Professional. Entrusting my home renovation project to IHD&R (Innovative Home Design & Remodeling, LLC) has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. I was fortunate to have seen previous completed projects, and heard testimonials from satisfied customers, and so I contracted with Dan Carr for my home improvement needs. Our Contractor removed an existing doorway into the mud room area, opened up two doorways that needed structural considerations, relocated electrical wiring and HVAC ductwork and then finished the area with Nantucket beadboard, new trim moldings and a bench seat and paint. A wall with a pocket door was also constructed to close off the laundry room from this new space. Next I will have IHD&R finishing off my new enclosed Laundry area. There will be more reviews to follow once the laundry room is complete. Dan Carr and his staff at IHD&R consistently went above and beyond throughout every phase of the project. From the very first consultation, he took time to understand my wish lists for the space, along with my budget constraints, and he used his vast knowledge to create a new space that was beyond my own dreams for the area. He was painstaking in his attention to detail, and when he encountered pre-existing problems that likely would have derailed another contractor; he took each challenge in stride and fixed the issue so that the final vision stayed on track. I received so much more than my money's worth! There is not the slightest doubt in my mind that each and every future project at my home will be given to the very capable IHD&R (Innovative Home Design & Remodeling, LLC).

My husband and I hired Innovative Home Design & Remodeling to renovate our entire kitchen and upgrade crown molding, wainscoting, lighting and painting in our whole first floor. The work done was nothing short of perfect! Dan took care of everything from dealing with suppliers, coordinating with flooring team and all the while doing exceptional work! I have recommended IHDR to my friends and family. We would absolutely hire them again without hesitation.

Innovative Home Design finished our basement, also opened up a wall and added wainscoting throughout the first floor and up both sets of stairs. It was a pleasure having Dan Carr and Kevin work in our home. They are always on time, CLEAN, and do excellent work. In the fall of 2015 I had my kitchen and first floor bathroom remodeled by Innovative Home Design & Remodeling, LLC. Owner Daniel J. Carr is extremely customer oriented. Dan and his team strive to meet and exceed the customer's expectations. Dan and his team combine a pleasant attitude with a "can do" attitude. The project they completed for me was done on time and within the agreed upon budget. During the project Dan went the extra mile to ensure the job was being done to my satisfaction. He personally made several trips to the granite, cabinet, and tile stores. He really wanted to make sure that everything matched perfectly and that I was truly happy with everything. I had to save for a long time in order to get these projects done and it was important to me that they were done right. In today's world it is difficult to find people that are going to do a great job at a fair price. It is also difficult to find people that are going to be neat and courteous while doing the work in your home. I can honestly say that Innovative Home Design & Remodeling, LLC met all my criteria.
