Steven Odams Architects, LLC, is a small firm devoted to providing the highest level of quality and service to its clients. We believe that designing a new home or an addition/alteration is a milestone in a client’s life, and that their project should be given the attention it deserves. The emphasis is on the design process: starting with an existing architectural context, and carefully considering the needs and wishes of the client, we craft a design solution that is both sensitive in its response and thorough in its detailing. The end result is either a new home that bespeaks its inspirational origins, or an addition that seamlessly blends with the existing home. Our designs have received numerous awards, including one from the Home Builders Association of Connecticut for the best custom home design between 3,000 and 4,000 square feet. We also take great pride in incorporating the design of interiors within the scope of our services, and our staff’s creations have graced the pages of Architectural Digest as well as other publications.

We hired Steve and Wendy to help us with a master bathroom renovation. They listened to what we wanted and had helpful suggestions. We were very happy with their plans and ultimately the results! We would definitely use them again!

We enjoyed working with Steve on our “deck” project for our family house. The project was a bit unusual in that Steve had to design a removable access to the “bilco” door which permits entrance to our basement and utility rooms. All 3 preliminary sketches were great. Our only difficult factor was deciding which one to choose. Once we settled on the design, he was extremely efficient and timely. The communication between Steve and our contractor went very smoothly as well. Since the completion of the project, we’ve received many compliments on the addition. The best being from family members who have said "it looks like it has been here all along”. We would most certainly recommend him and will be using him again on our next project ...

After other architects came in with plans for our addition, all of which were complex and not inline with the current look and feel of our home - we were introduced to Steve Odhams. Steve understood the property, listened for what we really wanted and inspired the perfect addition to our lake home. He is incredibly professional, and I would challenge anyone to look at our home as find the (large addition). His attention to detail, project management, and follow they long after the job is complete is world class. I would work with Steve on any additional projects and any prospective clients can come see his work.

Steve and Wendy Odams are a fantastic team. In 2004, the firm designed and then executed a full renovation on our home. The house was brought to the studs, reimagined and re-built into a home that had flow, light and exceeded our hopes. In 2010, we hired Steven Odam Architects again for another project. Our neighbors hired them for a new tennis/pool house build. Two other couples we know have hired them to renovate their homes.

My wife and I had long considered an addition/screen porch for our home, but we had so many ideas that getting them consolidated into a real design was very hard. Working with Steve we were able to talk through all the alternatives, discuss pros and cons, and narrow the list to a final design. The result was an excellent mix of things we had considered as well as new ideas we had not thought of. The addition fits so well with the existing floor plan that it looks as if the house had always been this way. It truly captures the feel of the house and property.

In my 31 years as a General Contractor, I have worked with few architects that are as knowledgeable about the details of what it actually takes to design and deliver a high end quality residential new home or renovation project. Steve and Wendy's practical in-depth understanding in marrying form and function combined with their team-oriented approach makes for a successful experience every time. After meeting with several different architects to discuss a major renovation and bump out to our kitchen and entire first floor, we hired Steven Odams Architects. Steve and Wendy spent a lot of time with us discussing our vision. They totally understood what we were looking for. In the end, they delivered all that and more. They were incredibly responsive, always returning phones calls or emails very quickly. Their attention to detail to very impressive. They walked us through every step of the project. All the qualities you want when you hire an architect. I would not hesitate to in the least bit to use this company again. I highly recommend them.

Steve designed a third car garage and sunroom for us as well as changing the flow of the driveway for us. He did an excellent job and we have received many compliments on how everything turned out. He was prompt with appointments and getting back to us through the design process and always professional and very nice to work with. We did have to change the design of the driveway after it was roughed in because we didn't like how it actually worked when parking cars but that was something we should have realized when approving the drawings. He was great to work with and I don't hesitate to recommend him!

As a builder we have worked with Steve and Wendy of "Steven Odams Architects, LLC." on several projects and they are at the top of the spectrum of the Architectural field. Their designs are awesome! Not only do their designs fit the projects they are developing or have developed, they meet all of the clients needs and enhance the function of the existing living space. Whether it be an addition or a renovation the design always looks and feels as it has been a part of the original and never out of place. They are very good at listening to the clients wants and they pay attention to all details whether it be design or function. It is always a pleasure working together with them, they are very professional in all aspects but at the same time are very approachable during the construction phase. We have worked with Steve Odams on our project 15 years ago building our house from scratch and found him to be so fabulous. We have come back15 years later to work with he and his wife Wendy on our new project.They are very talented, extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. We look forward to the next 10 months working on our renovation of a 1920 stone colonial home. When we finish I will provide photos.

コメント：what brand siding is this? It's lovely!The first time we used this product (not this project), we were pleasantly surprised, because until you touch it, it looks like real cedar shilgles.
