When I embarked on a project to redo my home office I decided to forgo a general designer and attempted to cobble together all the the different contractors and specialists myself. I worked with a wide range of craft experts and Doron of New York Woodwork Inc stands out above the pack as the most impressive. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Doron was hands down the most professional business owner aaaand contractor I worked with. He showed up when he said he would show up, he never deferred or came late, he replied to emails the same day, he was always available by phone. He was extremely efficient-- he provided accurate time estimates, often finished sooner than the estimates, and was always ready to suggest a date and get the work done. Despite all of the great stuff I mentioned above, my favorite thing about Doron is that he actually cares. He came over 4-5x before the project even began to look at the room, talk with me about what I wanted, make suggestions, and draw out ideas. Once the project started he constantly sent me picture updates and modified plans based on my changing preferences. Overall working with Doron was an absolute pleasure. He provided extremely high quality work efficiently and professionally. There is literally no way to provide better service as a contractor. If you have wood working needs, you can't do better than Doron and New York Woodwork Inc.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Doron! He listened to every little detail I asked for and even included a few extra surprises! Their work is meticulous, which created a stunning kitchen for me. He was great at communicating and delivered my kitchen earlier than I expected. Even when small fixes were needed (as is with every project, we call those small fixes punchlists) he was accommodating. Doron stands behind his work. I'll be using him and his team for my client projects for a very long time to come. New York Woodwork is excellent! They created a custom bookshelf for our bedroom that turned out absolutely beautiful. They were fast, professional, and their work is high-quality. The whole team is kind (Doron is the best!!) and responsive. I would highly recommend them!

Doron and his team made a wonderful job on the cabinet in our kitchen. The kitchen turned out beautiful, the cabinet are really high-quality and the installation was quick and super professional. We have no doubts that these cabinets will stay in our family for decades to come. Doron was able to transform our vision in reality by providing smart feedback on the design, patiently accommodating last minute changes and additions, and making sure with maniacal care that every details were completed to perfections. Even before the installation, he must have come to our apartment at least a half dozen times, to discuss with us, to take measures and to define details. We highly recommend working with him.

I couldn't recommend NYWoodwork enough. Doron was very professional, nice, honest and easy to work with. The communication was excellent. We had a beautiful wall-to-ceiling shelve made and installed, as long as a a shoe rack, drawer system and shelves installed in 3 different closets. Super smooth. We couldn't be happier!
