End of the Roll

They were great with assisting us with the right product for our renovation. We chose a wide plank vinyl floor as we have 2 boys and a large door. The durability of this floor is amazing as well looks fantastic. We love our new floors.

This is second time I hired this company - the first project was huge, this one smaller. I appreciate the quick service, expert advise and kind demeanor of all the staff. There was some miscommunication with the measurements second time hence only 4 stars, but over all excellent and recommended.

Did a very good job on installing our carpets in the master bedroom. And also do two flights of stairs . . as a consumer I always think that a true professional's work is best exemplified on staircases and they did a great job.

On August, 2016 we ordered what we thought would be the ultimate carpet for a small bedroom, and we chose a wool carpet. After 6 weeks of airing out the room 10 hours a day with 2 fans, the room still smelled like a sheep barn. A manufacturer representative came by and stated that there was no smell in the room, and if we smelled anything it must come from the room it self. Since the bedroom was inhabitable due to the odor, I insisted that the carpet be removed and to be analyzed by the distributor. The contracted worker who removed the carpet agreed that there was an odor in the bedroom. A few days later we were told that the carpet was fine and without odor and no compensation would be forthcoming. I then contacted Brad Johnson, the owner of the End of the Roll, who came by to have a look at the room and agreed that there was no odor in the room with the carpet having been removed. Mr. Johnson went to bat for us with the wool carpet distributor, but to no avail. Our issue was with the wool carpet manufacturer, so I was pleasantly surprised when Mr. Johnson told me that he was not going to leave it at that and that he would install flooring of our choice and cover the cost of the original carpet installation. The End of the Roll was under no obligation whatsoever to make matters right, but they did. This is the epitome of excellent customer service. It goes without saying, my future carpet needs will be served by The End of the Roll, and it most certainly will not be wool carpet from that distributor / manufacturer.

I bought my hard surface flooring and carpet for my new home in 2012. Both products were purchased from the North Van End of the Roll in 2012. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to walk me through the concerns I had and they made excellent recommendations. I felt no pressure to buy on the spot, nor did they try to push me to the most expensive products. They were cognoscente of my budget when making recommendations. I felt they were with me through the whole process. They did not take my order and then disappear. Confirmations were made prior to delivery and they followed up again after deliver and installation, and again a few weeks later to check if I was satisfied. When it comes down to it, it's obvious ther business model is centered on customer satisfaction. I would have no issue referring the North Van End of the Roll to my friends and family...in fact I already have.

My husband and were absolutely thrilled with Maureen's service from start to finish. Her thorough attention to detail and helpfulness made our experience a very positive one. The carpet layers engaged by EOR were polite and professional. They arrived on time and worked tirelessly all day, then cleaned up every bit of mess. The carpet looks impeccable! Thank you to Maureen and the carpet layers for doing such a great job!

The gentleman were on time and provided great service. They wereextremely professional. The install was quick and they were very nice during the installation. The clean up was like they were never there. Thank you!!!!

I went to End of the Roll North Vancouver to purchase hardwood flooring for entire upper floor of house. From the moment I entered the store, the staff was welcoming and extremely professional. They had a great selection of hardwood floors at good pricing which made it easy to choose. . The installation was done on a timely manner and very professional. I would recommend End of the Roll to anyone looking for flooring. They also had a great selection of area rugs.
