It was overwhelming to sift through potential contractors when we decided to go ahead with a renovation, but I chose Northern Alpine based on the positive reviews I read on-line and after the informative and thorough initial consultation I had with Chad. I appreciate how he is a "by the books" kind of guy and after having him and his crew renovate the lower level (basement) of our original 1986 townhome earlier this year I can agree with the positive reviews. Very professional, approachable, knowledgeable, respectful and transparent. He also has lots of patience and took time to answer all my questions. He also was great with following up. All his trades people and designer are also top notch (thanks Cody!). I would not hesitate to recommend him or use again for a future project.

The crew at Northern Alpine Contracting did a great job on my new kitchen. This is the second large renovation they have done and I am very pleased. I really appreciated their input and ideas as well. Quality was top notch and deadlines were met. I would not hesitate to use them again in future projects.

Northern Alpine recently renovated our entire apartment. Chad and his crew were fantastic. They finished on time and on budget. They were professional in dealing with the strata, city permits, and keeping us in the loop on any issues that came up. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends or family. For our project, we originally planned it to be a bigger project, but decided to reduce it. This was because Chad (Northern Alpine) recommended the project be broken up so that we have time to think about it (and he was right). He helped us prioritize the urgent work first rather than taking on the job for revenue sake. Once the work started, everything was done reliably and even the surprised that were found were handled very well by the crew (Cody and Wade). Also all of them were very accommodating showing me they were doing throughout the process, answering my questions, and following up. Overall, I could not have asked for a better team to trust a job with. Last but not least, as a project manager myself, I greatly appreciated the effort put into the estimating and scheduling process which allowed the overall job to go smooth. Any potential surprises/risks were communicated up front, so when things were encountered, there were minimal stress. We do still plan to do the remainder of the reno at some point, and I will for sure be asking Northern Alpine's team for it.

Chad, and Northern Alpine, are fantastic at listening to clients wishes and creating a beautiful end product. Their communication is transparent, informative, and consistent, which has really helped my clients feel at ease during a sometimes stressful time. On top of all that, they are very friendly, personable people with a great eye for detail and design.

We recently renovated our two bedroom (1350 sq. ft.) high rise condo and it is absolutely beautiful. We wanted a contemporary look so we took everything down to the studs and hired Chad Walmsley and Northern Alpine Contracting to evolve our dream home. I know from my building experience that hiring a competent contractor is the most critical aspect of a successful renovation. This company was hired by my husband and I to build a new pool/change house from the foundation up. Our new pool house was extremely well built and they designed it to fit in with the style of our older home. Their work exceeded our expectations! Nice job!!
