We're very sorry you've had a bad experience. We're a small business, and customer satisfaction is our number one priority.

As you know, we've tried to work with you on a solution. It was very unfortunate that you attached the top upside down, causing the tops not to match. We made a new top for you, free of charge, as soon as we learned, since we wanted to make you happy.

Unlike engineered wood, natural wood tops (like ours) will always have slight variations. The tops you have received have gone through our quality control and would have been a beautiful upgrade to your IKEA furniture provided that they were assembled correctly. We take this incident very seriously, though, and we don't want anyone to have this experience again, which is why we've changed our assembly instructions to mark out how they should be assembled clearly. Again, we're so very sorry for how this turned out, and we had hoped that our efforts would have been recognized throughout this process.
