Nancy is the consummate professional, consultative at every point in the process but decisive when needed....the result is comfortable yet sophisticated that evokes a "wow".

Three years ago, we assessed redecorating our retail space. Calling Nancy West of Noble West Design, a specialist in commercial space planning, we explained our desire to move everything around. It was tired and in need of an update. Nothing had changed since we moved into the building. Nancy showed me how easily we could refresh the look; make the space more useful and customer friendly. Once we had the traffic pattern ideas and the colors in mind, the plan came together nicely. Taking advantage of the slower summer months, Nancy felt we could finish the job, stresslessly, before fall and holiday merchandise started arriving. To get started, we moved non-essential items to storage to give us some working room. In June, we set about updating our shelving, repainting the interiors, installing new carpet, rebuilding and lowering the height of our existing floor displays and, importantly, we put wheels on all the rebuilt fixtures making it easier for staff to move heavy displays. Sight lines were considered. People say, oh, you have more space, but no, we have better sight lines. While it was necessary the store remain open during the redo, our customers enjoyed watching the changes take place. Nancy helped reconfigure our merchandise categories, prioritizing the different sections of the store to give our shoppers a better experience. I have to say, with pleasure, Nancy sourced locally, from paint to fabric, glass and wood to floor waxing. Amazing what she accomplished with a small crew. Looking back as I write, the change seems so effortless. She did a great job, was easy to work with, solved problems and brought the job in on time and at the right cost.

Nancy West helped us out in a real pinch, and she did wonderful work. We needed to paint the drawing room and library of the elegant mansion at this National Historic Landmark, following plaster work done after the 2011 earthquake. Due to a miscommunication on our team, the painter was coming in a couple days, and the paint colors had not been determined. I called Nancy for help, and she responded immediately with excellent choices for paint colors. Now two of the most prominent rooms in the mansion look stunning. Nancy is a consummate professional, with great sensitivity to her clients' needs, and I would recommend her to all. The mansion is open to the public for tours if you would like to see Nancy's work in person.

I really enjoyed working with Nancy West. Although I was working with a limited budget,Nancy found ways to transform our living room from a dark heavy environment with no particular focus to a light inviting space that feels casually elegant. The room is challenging because it's where people enter the house so it felt like a room with a hallway going through it. We first focused on finding slip cover material that would unify my eclectic furniture. I went for a modest priced material for the sofas and chairs and splurged on material for the accent pillows. Nancy noticed a lovely botanical calendar that I had and suggested having the photos framed because healing plants are such a big part of my story. I moved a distressed bureau into the room and hung several of the prints over it and now when one enters the house it feels like a gallery drawing attention to the botanical prints instead of like a hallway. Working with Nancy gave me the confidence I need to take what I learned from her and transform one room at a time. Noble West Design will help you turn your home into a 5 Star experience! When Leisure world was opened 1989, I was one of the first occupants. The walls and the rugs were white. The color of the day was off shade of white. I finally realized a change was much needed. I knew Nancy West, socially and hard she was a very qualified designer. She has a reputation of being an excellent color and space coordinator. She came to the condo, looked it over and was most tactful in suggesting changes. She noticed I had a penchant for modern with a touch of antiques furniture piece. Her suggestions turned a dull environment into a vibrant home. She knew I was open to suggestions. Upon entering the condo there is a hallway to your left. She asked how would I like that wall to be purple, I caught on, this would tie in the purple couch. She made many simple, inexpensive suggestions and we cannot praise and thank her for her talents. The rooms have their own personalities. The place is alive but quiet at the same time. A friend was considering painting her home. I suggested she contact Nancy to assist her with this job. She called to thank me for recommending Nancy. She said she would never have picked these colors and they turned out perfect. I hope in the future she will do another update for us.

Nancy had asslisted us with an interim room redesign at our historic 1890s home. She worked with what we had and loved, and considered the demands of a family with animals and a young child. Her room redesign completely opened up our space, and made it functional for both daily family living and entertaining. When we finally decided to move to a more spacious home, we were at a loss for how to decorate in an open concept. Nancy came to the rescue again, and helped us use some of the things we had while making wise purchases for the long haul. 2 years later, we are still grateful every day that Nancy was able to help us with our new home. It feels warm and comfortable, and has a bit of style that we couldn't have given it on our own.

We used Nancy in both the building and interior design process when we gutted and built an addition to our house. Becasue she has a drafting as well as a design background she was helpful to us in working with our builder to solve construction issues as well as the selection of cabinetry and finishes. She often has simple and not really expesive solutions to problems.When selecting furnishings, fabrics and paint colors for our sitting room, guest room, and dining room Nancy helped select colors and patterns that were well suited to the use of the rooms as well as our individual taste.
