NKBA Ottawa

It's a wonderful feeling to share thoughts and conversations with a room full of similarly impassioned people, I felt truly welcomed by my group of peers. I left my first seminar feeling invigorated by my newfound knowledge and felt equally excited for the new connections I had made. The NKBA offers such great opportunities for networking amongst professionals, I feel honoured to call myself a new member and look forward to being able to participate in more events!

NKBA Ottawa is an organization that is dedicated to helping all its members in the Ottawa Kitchen and Bath industry. As a volunteer, its easy for me to recognize all the unseen contributions through time and efforts, that the committees provide. BUT its well worth the effort when members receive knowledge they need through an information session (CEU), or dinner meeting. Many networking events bring together not only business contacts, but new long term relationships and friends. Those friends and members support one another when recognition in the form of awards, is given at our annual Design Excellence Gala Awards! Because of the Ottawa Chapter of the NKBA, our community has grown exponentially and developed into one of the most noted chapters in the NKBA, nationally. Please continue your support and encourage other industry members to join, a fantastic group of individuals who together, will further develop this chapter and bestow these experiences onto the next members. NKBA has wonderful information to help all businesses and designers with the consumer in mind. The Ottawa NKBA chapter meets on the average once a month with professional trade seminars and product knowledge from suppliers. The social aspect helps me to grow and understand our local consumer and their needs. We also help the students at our local community college with these NKBA meetings as the students learn different aspects for their new career and socialize with the professionals as they will seek employment in the future. The Ottawa NKBA has an annual designer excellent award (DEA) which also helps to raise funds for our local community college in the NKBA program and reunite us all together for a fantastic soiree and celebration.
