Still Space Architecture

Still Space Architecture is a design focused practice, specialising in large renovations and custom homes - integrating landform, structure and landscape, using colour and craft to achieve tranquil environments. I am a third generation architect and have spent my life sketching, visiting amazing buildings around the world, and I love what I do as a designer of spaces for people. I have over 20 years experience working as an architect in Sydney, Melbourne and London and set up my own practice in 2015, with a focus in residential design. Designing your home is for most people a once in a lifetime opportunity , we aim to make this a creative and enjoyable process. Our processes are client focussed and being a small firm we provide a highly personalised service through all stages of the design and building phases. We love challenges - whether it is working with a historic house, a restrictive council, or a small overshadowed site, we look for the creative opportunities to find a inspired solution. Process: Dreams : Initially we work with our clients to find out what their dream is, testing and expanding ideas to make great spaces. This usually starts with a coffee or site meeting and then several ideas are generated during this fluid process, with feedback from the client. Once the concept plans are working well we can start the more detailed design and the Development Application. We are used to dealing with Council and Government agencies and persevere to get your project over the line and built. We can work to find the right builder for you, and then assist in the Construction stage advocating on your behalf to get the design realised, and working to help solve any issues as they arise.
