Hello Susanna and Alex… we just wanted to send our thanks to you and your landscaping team as we come to a close of a very difficult year for everyone. We enjoyed working with you, Susanna, in the drafting up of the plans you presented to us and working around to the final proposal. We decided to ‘gift’ ourselves a front yard that has many neighbours and folks out walking to stop and compliment us on how nice everything looks. We appreciate the hard work and attention to detail of Alex and his team of landscapers who worked hard to come up with a finished product like we imagined. In June and July of 2020, there were days when the rain was relenting and ones that were hot and humid, but everyone put in a hard day’s work regardless of the weather… and we appreciated every day that work continued. Thanks again for your tutoring into what plants and scrubs would blend in with the landscape design, and helping us pick out the best of a wide selection. With the direction on how to nurture and care for each plant and our new lawn, we are confident that everything will come into full bloom come the Spring. I had Susanna and Alex redo my deck and some of the landscaping in my front and back yard last summer. Susanna was great with doing the designs and including my ideas where it worked and provided great explanations as to why some of my ideas wouldn't work or how they could work with changes. I was really happy with the end project and am truly enjoying my yard this year which is huge since we can all barely leave our yards now! So glad I made the investment. Thanks Susanna and Alex!!

Great work by Newhart! Susanna was very professional and honest about the work that I wanted done in my backyard, how it would go and the estimate. I received drawings in a timely manner and was able to see what the finished product would look like as well as make a few changes once we chatted about how that would effect the outcome and then was able to see the revisions. The team ensured they swept up and kept the area clean as possible during the time they were with us which was actually a big deal for me! And thanks again for the beautiful shrubs that were suggested as well! They look amazing!

Unpaid Bill For Services Leduc 4 months ago Suzanna asked me to provide some woodworking services for 3 of her 2018 landscape projects. She agreed, signed and paid a deposit on my quote. But now I am still trying to get paid for the outstanding balance. Several promises for an office manager but no money. Now all attempts via phone text email etc go unanswered. Never let Suzanna Walcher do work for you as she does not pay her Bills.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Susanna to give my deck new life. After a couple of very quick visits everything was planned and ready to go. It was a nice change to not have to worry about organizing anything or lining up contractors. With refinishing an old deck, like anything you never know what to except once you rip out the old and prep for the new but there was nothing that arose they couldn’t take care of. With an important event being held at my house within 3 weeks Susanna guaranteed me the deck would be done………………. Not only was it completed on time but it also came in under budget!! Using the services of Susanna exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend using Susanna with Walcher Brothers Landscaping and look forward to letting her care of a few more things on my Honey Do List.

Susanna was very hard to reach as she does not give out her cell phone number. Once we paid for the work we discovered that we did not pass our landscaping inspection, as they did not fully read the requirements for the area, or perhaps didn't read them at all. We also had a dying tree. We were told that the repairs/replacement weren't in the original "scope of work". After two weeks of semi regular emails they started ignoring me completely and after three weeks of unanswered emails and voicemails I received a call from a "friend" trying to mediate. I explained my simple request, we had spent $36,000 after all and expected to pass our neighbourhood's requirements, sadly, after 4 days, nothing has even been proposed by them. Always more excuses with them and I am now forced to repair it myself, at my expense, if I wish to get my landscaping deposit back in 2018. They also damaged my neighbour's fence while accessing my yard. It required a single board to be replaced, they would not respond to his emails and when he spoke with Susanna, she said "no we won't be fixing it". Avoid them at all costs. Terrible customer service and average workmanship by their employees (our turf is very lumpy with many visible seams) at best.

Last fall I met with Susanna at my home to discuss my desire to do something with our small city backyard. I instantly liked Susanna and felt comfortable hiring Walcher Brothers to design and create my backyard. She came up with a design that was even better than what I was thinking about. Through no fault of theirs, I had to cancel the project. There were no problems with cancelling the project and receiving my deposit back. Once I'm prepared to go ahead with the plans, I will not hesitate contacting Walcher Brothers again.

Walcher Brothers came highly recommended by a friend & the work they did exceeded our expectations. We had a huge weed fest growing in our front yard & they totally transformed it in a day & a half. They were clean, quick & cost efficient in transforming an eyesore into something we are proud of again. We have received multiple compliments on the work. We would recommend them highly to anyone looking for landscaping work.

I have worked closely with Susanna and her team on many projects in the past few seasons. They do great work and have tremendous attention to detail. I am happy to recommend them as a high quality landscaping company to anyone.

We met/heard about Walcher Brothers through the Edmonton Home Renovation Show. We signed up for our free consultation and had our initial meeting within a week. Susanna was very informative… she listened to what we were looking for but also gave some excellent suggestions! She came back with a drawing and quote very quickly. The drawing/design was a “base plan” so we were able to make modifications and additions throughout the entire project! Alex takes great pride in his work, and it shows! He was always willing to make any slight changes we asked and was very helpful answering any questions we had during the project. The only negative, would be a few communication issues we had. In fairness, this was mainly due to them being short staffed due to illness/injury. In the end, we are so pleased with the finished product! We can’t wait until next summer when we can enjoy/celebrate with our friends and family in our backyard Oasis. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to complete any type of landscaping project. Thank you again Susanna and Alex!
