Neva is passionate about design. Creative, professional, customer focused, and a “Material Girl”…. Fabric, stone, wood, metals, light, are like jewels to work with. Her knowledge, love and fascination for the construction and design process make her an ideal member of your team. Her completed projects include, new Construction, remodeling, refurbishing and furnishings for hospitality venues, restaurants, private residences and offices. With nearly 20 years in the business in Sonoma County she has established a network of top suppliers, craftspeople and artisans to successfully bring your project from concept to completion. With the San Francisco Design Center close at hand Neva B. offers the finest in home furnishings and fabrics. The design studio is located in the heart of Historic Rail Road Square, housing an extensive library and meeting place. She is an award winning member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association and has received national and local recognition for many of her projects. Neva B. has lived in Santa Rosa since 1983 and loves living and working in the wine country. Her past experience and career was in the agricultural financing industry where she grew to know and appreciate the Sonoma, Napa and Marin County areas. “I love working where I live. What better commute could there be than driving to the Bodega coastline or the Alexander Valley? I feel very fortunate to have a career in which I meet so many wonderful people, work with talented architects, contractors and artisans, and mostly, enrich the lives of others by creating beautiful and functional surroundings for them to live, work, play and enjoy.”

Bohemian Stoneworks has worked with Neva in the past years on several projects and we always enjoy being part of her work. The last project was a custom table top that she wanted for her clients dining room to go with the initial design. From the custom shape to custom color and metal base, the design was beautiful and well thought-through. Everything went very smooth, from initial contact through working the design details out with her and her clients, all the way to the delivery. Neva is a wonderful professional that strives to understand her clients idaes and provides excellent design services that not only look good on paper but are also do-able in real life. We always look forward to work with Neva and her team!

We discovered Neva B. Interior Design by a stroke of good luck in early 2015. Initially we were looking for someone to help with window coverings, accent pillows and reupholstery in our home which we had just finished updating and remodeling. We could tell from the very beginning that she was professional and had experience with homes such as ours. Neva has exquisite style and we eventually covered every window in our house. We then asked her for help on turning a "library/office" into a fun room and she helped us achieve our goal with very original design ideas which included colors, furniture, and a beautiful custom-made cabinet for our salt water aquarium. Not only is she a great designer, she has access to a myriad of fabrics, furniture and sub-contractors in our area. Plus, Neva listens and is a blast to work with! She stayed within our budget and was there for us every step of the way. We highly recommend her for any project in your home from the large and complicated to the simple but elegant and important. We will use Neva B whenever we need anything in our home.

Neva B is an excellent interior designer. I have provided art and wall finishes to her firm over the past 20 years. I am always happy to be included in her projects, as they are very creative and of the best quality. She has always been courteous and professional with me. She communicates clearly, which creates clarity and ease with each project. I have watched her develop a reputation as a top notch restaurant designer, and would not hesitate recommending her for any design project.

We did a whole house remodel in stages. Neva made the process exciting and even fun at times. She is pleasant and always professional. She really got to know our preferences and style and it shows in our home.

We have worked with Neva Freeman of Neva B Interior Design for nearly 15 years. Neva does a great job of matching artistic vision with technical fluency. She is adept at big picture thinking but also displays an understanding of the tiniest fabrication or installation detail. Her problem solving attitude makes for pleasant interaction, no matter what challenge might come along. I am part of a large group of vendors, fabricators, installers and more, who enjoy the association with Neva. She expects the best from all of us and provides the creative "space" to achieve it.

Terrific eye for color and details, a simple change to our cabinetry around the fireplace really gave the perspective we wanted. Neva thinks of functionality and understands your need for an artistic flair. Always current with industry trends, fabrics etc, she was a delight to work with. Also helped with creative ideas for master bedroom using paint and lighting. We love our new look!

Neva has gently & artfully guided us in several remodeling efforts in our home during the past 12 years. The results have always been perfect for us - she has a knack for what works for our family, in our home, in our rural community. Her color selection and eye for design is superb. She has helped us design spectacular rooms which are current in fashion yet timeless in results. She has also been our anchor as we update our dental office in our community. There is no question that any remodeling or updating project for us will include Neva as an amazing partner.
