Barbara Neary Real Estate

I am a third-generation Santa Barbara native, and have intimate knowledge of all local communities, including Santa Barbara, Montecito, Hope Ranch, Goleta, Summerland and Carpinteria. In fact, my father, James Valentine Neary, was in real estate in the 1980's, which has kept me abreast of changing markets ever since. I have watched our beloved community grow and change, always preserving our rich history and core values. Before real estate, I was an international adventure travel guide - designing and leading rafting, trekking, and sea kayaking trips in the U.S.A., Nepal, India, Chile, Argentina and Peru. My insatiable thirst for learning, exploring and adventure finds me hiking, biking, kayaking, sail-racing and flying; I hold a recreational pilot's license. Concurrently, while adventure guiding in my early career, I taught high school math and science in both Calistoga and Napa, California. In awe of my outdoor prowess, the students nicknamed me "Miss Gnarly." How does my background contribute to your real estate experience with me?
