Neal Crampton Furniture

Neal has created some fantastic cabinetry in our lounge and dining rooms, including a built-in cupboard, TV unit, window seat and radiator covers. We are so pleased with the finished results and the window seat has completely transformed an unloved, draughty bay window into our favourite place to sit with a coffee and a book, with stylish, soft-close drawers. Neal is a great craftsman, who designed some beautiful pieces of furniture to make the most of our rooms, painstakingly working with the difficult and uneven dimensions of our old house to ensure that all the furniture looks great and fits perfectly. Neal was very easy to work with and was very professional in all aspects of his work; he provided a detailed quote, was reliable, met all the deadlines, was very tidy whist working here, did an immaculate job and cheerfully overcame unexpected problems that arose during the job. We would certainly recommend Neal's work to anyone wanting some beautiful, bespoke cabinetry and only wish we'd found him earlier!

Neal designed, built and installed our kitchen. More than two years on, we're still delighted with it. For me, the highlights are i) the beauty, build quailty, finish, and general "solidness" of the hand built units, ii) Neal's professionalism dealing with our quite specific (fussy?) design requirements, and adapting the design on site when it turned out the measurements I had emailed to him were not quite right, iii) value for money. The units were too big to fit through our gate so to get the units into our kitchen Neal had to lift them over our back yard wall and down a 10 foot drop - not many "standard" kitchen delivery companies would have coped with that!

We engaged Neal Crampton in 2013, after a personal recommendation, to make an oak dresser for our dining room. The dresser was made meticulously to our design which we had discussed in detail with Neal. We were so impressed with the quality and service provided that we ordered a matching sideboard in 2014. The dining room storage collection was completed this year in February 2016 with a small storage unit for CDs. Neil has always been readily available with helpful advice when we contacted him on one or two issues after completion. Each piece was completed to schedule, to a high standard, and has been much admired. Highly recommended.

Neal's furniture is high quality and he has good attention to detail. He is prompt, fair and accommodating to work with and the finished result was exactly what we and our client were looking for on this project.
