As someone has already noted, Gary Dennie is a bit of a crook. I supplied various mid century lighting to his Publiki shop in Beckenham on a sale or return basis. He signed an agreement to clarify the terms of business. He then suddenly closed the shop down and informed he had sold 3 of my lights on Vinteriors and owed me £1100. With a variety of promises and excuses ranging from the money had been paid into the wrong account, he’d mistakenly used the money to pay HMRC and him being away working...he then disappeared. It’s incredible how individuals like Dennie operate and consciously go out of the way to fleece other small businesses, when he’s a small trader (charlatan) himself. There are currently several county court judgements against him. Avoid any business dealings this individual at all costs.

I Supplied in excess of £2,800 of materials & labour for Gary. - When it came to payment, I was given every excuse under the sun, Accounts on holiday, a bereavement, off sick. - A missing shipping container of stock! Eventually the guy vanished from his premises overnight and stopped returning calls. Shameful really that Gary is happy to do this to a fellow small business.

We were pointed to the Publiki website via a friend who was also looking for Mid-century Vintage furniture pieces for their new home. It was such a surprise and then read about this company and the ideas about the overall design and feel of a space and then him suggesting what pieces they had which might work within our home, and this by the way done purely via a few pictures we had taken and over a 3-week period. After a series of emails to Gary (the owner) hey swiftly sent us options of the things that he felt would be the right fit as we were looking at a gorgeous pair of 60’s chairs he had as we did not want to purchase anything that needed additional work, we later found out that all Publiki products were more than likely all re-stored when required and upholstered. it took about another 3 weeks to receive the chairs via air freight and they have been a perfect addition to the family ... We highly recommend this company as they got beyond the call of duty and it was not just about the sale we thought.

I recently visited the Publiki showroom, just for a browse as I was working nearby. I met with Gary the owner of the shop and designer extraordinaire! I had been looking for a chair for the main bedroom for sometime, and the attached photo shows my spontaneous purchase! The buying experience was great, as a one off, Gary even delivered the Chair to my house on a Saturday morning and helped lift it upstairs - now not even John lewis offer those levels of service!

He was 100% right and had he personally delivered the item within a week. A beautiful and hassle-free purchase and can't wait for them to fit out my house after my wedding"

After a long search we finally found the perfect floor lamp at Publiki. Gary was very friendly and delivered the lamp personally with a complementary light bulb! Highly recommended.

We were looking for a London based company to take on a quick house renovation. The property was in a terrible condition and required extensivee work to be carried out to it. We had been informed by friends of a vintage furniture brand that normally only dealt with more high-end jobs. Also, we were led ti believe that their team were quick in getting projects completed to a very high standard, and dealt with the more "luxury" renovations and we thought that they would not take on a job such as ours.....how wrong were we. As it turns out, they met us at the house and said that they could take this project on in between renovating their own showroom and other bespoke furniture design jobs. They even created a mood board and CAD for us at no extra charge for this small development. They could not do enough for us and was attentive to our needs and more importantly, spent time there and managed to bring this small job in under our budget. I'm not sure that we will ever get to work with them again on a house renovation but they are currently supplying and advising us on furnishings for it.

I found them on line and was highly impressed with some of their amazing pieces of furniture they had. I decided to purchase a sofa for my house in Koh Samui. We received a solid container which put my mind at ease straight away due to the distance it was travelling, it came not only wrapped in a more than sufficient amount of bubble wrap but also in 3 meter designer draw string bag stating that it was home and who it had come from. The level of thought and care that was put into just a delivery process was remarkable, and the piece of furniture was more beautiful on arrival.

I bought the most sensational pair of mid century chairs and found the whole process from selection to delivery to be smooth and professional. That makes life just that little bit easier. Highly recommend this dealer!
