At Schotten & Hansen, we develop and produce our surface finishes and care products in our own laboratory. Schotten & Hansen GmbH has its Managing Director and co-founder, Torben Hansen, to thank for a large portion of its success. His visionary force, creativity, and dedication have been vital the company throughout its life span, providing fresh impulses into the present. The trained carpenter works in his laboratory to continuously discover new methods for emphasising the unique character of wooden workpieces, upending more than a few paradigms of woodworking in the process. We look beyond the flooring alone. Interior design and flooring should work in harmony to deliver a coherent whole. Interior elements are critical to achieving this sense of harmony, which is why we also produce stairs, doors, and other furniture items to co-ordinate with your flooring and create consistency throughout your home.
