It's always a pleasure working with Mike and his team. We've done many projects with him, large and small and everything in-between, and he's always completed each one with an outstanding level of detail. His team are all very professional, do excellent work and treat their customers with respect. If issues arise, they work with the customer to address them to the customers' satisfaction. My husband and I faced the challenge of renovating a kitchen and bath in a 200-year-old home as well as outfitting a master bathroom, mudroom and laundry room as part of a new addition all of which were to be tile flooring. In addition, we wanted a zero-threshold walk-in shower installed with a linear drain and we knew that a contractor’s experience was very important. In our search for someone to do the job, we were very fortunate to find Mike Caley of Caley Carpentry in Tiverton, RI. In fact, we found Mike while searching Houzz photos for ideas for walk-in showers and we were very impressed with his work. Although we had a good idea of what we wanted, the renovation/addition was a big job involving uneven sub floors and some construction restraints and it required a practical and creative approach. Mike provided that and more, and along with his experienced crew and attention to detail, it all came together beautifully. We are very pleased with the results and we highly recommend Mike Caley.

Beautiful remodel of our bathroom. We had our bathroom done the first time less than 10 years ago and just about everything was done wrong. Mike and his crew came in and took it down to the studs and went to town. We couldn't be happier with our final result. It was refreshing to work with Mike as he is communicative and pays attention to detail. All the crew were professional and talented. We plan on having more work done on the house and won't hesitate to call Caley Carpentry again. This was a positive experience and the results are not just beautiful but a bathroom that will last a very long time. Nice job all around!

I have known Michael Caley for many years. He has done all kinds of carpentry work for during these years, from installing windows, doors to smaller jobs. He is very easy to work with as he is honest as the day is long. He makes sure that you, as the client, understand exactly what is going to be done. i also feel that his pricing is competitive but fair. I have recommended Caley Carpentry to many of my friends and will continue to do so in the coming years.

We finally finished off part of our basement! Found a contractor who was...admittedly not a bargain, but willing to work with us to stay within a budget, and worth every penny for the professionalism and competence of every member of his team. With Caley Carpentry, we had the guidance we needed every step of the way, and felt completely at ease about how the various aspects of the project were coordinated and completed, even and especially when we threw a couple of monkey wrenches into the works (e.g. by opting to go with our own electrician). We told them what our end goal was and what our constraints were, and they helped us get there with as little angst aspossible. They remained flexible and responsive to our questions/concerns throughout the entire process.

from the initial quote to the completion, caley carpentry was communicative, skillful, open, polite and on time. as professionals we appreciated the respect they had for providing work that was in keeping with our old house. we would definitely recommend them. very easy to work with and excellent work. they really went out of their way to make sure everything was as we wished.

My husband and I hired Mr. Caley for a bathroom renovation. He was a tremendous help with the purchase of the radiant heated floor system. This was our first time using that system so we were unsure of products, warranties, etc. His knowledge regarding the tile and especially the shower floor were fantastic. We had done some of the prep work ourselves so Mr. Caley had to work around our mistakes!! His attitude about this was no problem and he managed to do a wonderful job despite us. He was ALWAYS on time, which was a new experience for us in dealing with other companies. His assistants were respectful, on-time and always cleaned up at the end of the day. He did such a good job with that project that we hired him to install replacement windows a few months later. There were some issues with the windows that we purchased and he worked with the company to resolve them and finished the job in a timely manner. We would hire Mr. Caley again without hesitation and recommend him for any projects!

We are a residential general contractor and utilize Caley Carpentry's services whenever we have tile work to be done. Mike and his associates are highly skilled and well versed in all aspects of tile installation. They are respectful and courteous with our clients and do a tremendous job working with our clients from design to completion. I highly recommend Mike and his company.

Michael Caley is great! He tiled our fireplace hearth and the fireplace facing. We had some unexpected issues arise with the fireplace, all due to the age of the house, and Michael calmly outlined our options and once a decision was made, expertly completed the job. He also did some carpentry work that we are pleased with. All his work is top notch. One thing that I cannot emphasize enough is that Michael stays in contact with his clients until the job is completed. When we started contacting contractors about the work we needed, he was quick to respond, showed up when he said he would, and provided the estimate in a more than timely manner. I highly recommend him.

Caley Carpentry has completed three projects for us since November, 2014. The price cited covers all three: a completed renovated bathroom to accommodate a walk/roll-in shower, a completely renovated kitchen, and new flooring in the dining room that will support a very heavy power wheelchair. We have been completely satisfied with Mike Caley, his employees, and the subs he recommends. They are professional, meticulous, respectful, and a pleasure to have in the house.
