With absolutely no experience in home buying, finding my first house was daunting. When I did find it, I knew it was in need of a major makeover: new flooring, new paint, and a new kitchen, just to start. I was even further over my head than I realized. My challenges were twofold: first, where should I begin? And second, how do I get there? My inability to visualize a concept, coupled with my failure to account for the smallest details--the tiny things that make a house a home--only reinforced my inexperience. Fortunately for me, Melissa was able to synthesize all my thoughts and preferences into a beautiful product while simultaneously remaining sensitive to my budget. Overall, her vast knowledge and meticulous planning seamlessly expedited the evolution of the project from concept to finished product.
