I highly recommend Mark and MJP Studios. They were a pleasure to work with from the planning of the design through the execution. Our finished floor was beautiful and just as we expected. Mark and his team were careful, detail oriented, pleasant, on time and truly interested in doing their best job for us. His portfolio is very impressive.

We hired MJP Studios for a wood-graining project at the Yale Art Gallery. It was a months-long project and like most projects was subject to unanticipated challenges and delays. MJP was not only flexible in dealing with a constantly shifting schedule, they performed their work capably and professionally throughout. Mark, the principal for the company, was thorough and responsive in developing color and grain matching glazes and techniques to produce finishes that felt convincing in a mid-18th century historic building. Mark and his team of hired professionals produced a finished product that is beautiful, durable and of the highest quality. We couldn't be happier.

I asked Marc to paint some antique (circa 1795) pine doors with a faux crotch mahogany treatment. I have training in conservation and I know what such doors should look like. Marc did a PERFECT job, quickly and reasonably. I plan to engaga him again for faux graining other doors, this time with an oak finish.

My company has used Marc exclusively over the last 15+ years. I have worked with multiple decorative artists and can say that Marc is absolutely the best, hands down. He is talented in every aspect of art, from his wood graining and marbling techniques to his murals and fine art reproductions. My company works with very high end clientele and I would never trust anyone but MJP Studios to represent my company. 5 Stars +++

Marc is an amazing artist. I have hired and rehired him several times over the last few years to create ceiling murals in my small suburban house. He has transformed our non-descript home into a little jewel. Because of his work we get to live in my own little dream European palace. Marc is a pleasure to work with. His attention to detail, his sense of color, composition, and perfectionism in execution make him a real find. Everyone who sees our place is speechless. I can't recommend him enough.

I had the pleasure of working with Marc on one of the most exciting projects I've done to date. As a designer, finding artisans that raise the bar is no simple task. Marc came through in a way that absolutely blew my mind! He is a true artist with exceptional talent. i would not use anyone else for any of my decorative painting/mural applications.

MJP Studios is my go-to faux painting studio. Marc and I have executed many memorable projects together-- including a sky blue lacquer ceiling for one Master Bedroom, and a gold leaf ceiling (pictured below) for another. I can rely upon MJP's team to do timely estimates and provide reliable service with a smile, which does not always come hand-in-hand with artistic talent. The piece-de-resistance, however, is the quality and craftsmanship Marc brings to the project, virtually guaranteeing an amazed and grateful client. Marc's team and his own talent elevates a project from stylish to astounding!
