プロフィール

Mira Jean Steinbrecher, registered architect, designs homes of many descriptions. Each is unique; each is imaginative & beautiful.. All are practically conceived to be workable, livable & sensible. Licensed since 1988, Mira has the broad experience that comes with time & practice. From her office on Whidbey Island in the midst of the Salish Sea, she designs projects throughout the Northwest. Mira holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Texas at Austin & a Bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin. She has designed many homes incorporating the 'BIG Wood' of logs & timbers, as well as post and beam creations. In a previous career, she worked in the professional theatre as a costume designer & pattern-maker. Her diverse experience gives her a unique view of the design world.
