Mimy designed and built custom cabinets, drawers and counters for our ADU/mini home in 2021. He was efficient, worked within our budget, and now we have a beautiful custom kitchen.

I needed a custom built cabinet for my small treatment room that could hold all of my supplies. Mimy listened and designed what I needed on the spot. I received his computer drawings soon after and we went ahead with looking at different and inexpensive woods to use. He hand picked the wood at the lumbar yard and made my beautiful cabinet. My patients think it is also beautiful and the price was very reasonable for a hand built with love piece. I would definitely use him again.

The pieces that Mimy creates are very unique, functional and beautiful. Some of his pieces literally take my breath away! Mimy uses mortise and tenon rather than nails and screws and this makes for a much more hardy piece that will last many, many years. We hired Mimy Designs to rebuild and improve a unique piece of office furniture (a large wooden flat file cabinet). The piece came out looking great: The design Mimy drew up turned out to be functional and a lovely centerpiece of that part of the office suite. Mimy stood behind his work: We had a minor problem with the piece after installation and he came by quickly to adjust it. We also commissioned a large wall of custom library shelving. Both projects were completed on-time and on-budget. Prices were reasonable, especially considering it was custom work. His design drawings were clear and ideas were practical and value-oriented. His passion for wood was apparent in the quality of the craftsmanship.
