We love working with Liz. She is a beautiful designer with a fabulous eye. She brings great style and also learns about your specific tastes, needs and budget in order to design something custom that just works for you in every way. Liz designed for us a functional and inviting home that felt like a home and not a staged museum. She improvised through the various twists and turns that came with the home remodel that grew in scope and she saved the day with her creative solutions to problems on several occasions. A key window and wall that she added transformed our space with very little added investment on our part. Only the most positive review comments to offer about Milima.

Of the three designers that I had interviewed, Liz had the 'designer's eye,' transforming not only my 43 year old kitchen, but my whole downstairs living space into a cohesive, well-planned, elegant, and BEAUTIFUL area in which I can enjoy my precious solitude, as well as entertain with ease. I have 5 growing granddaughters under the age of 7, who visit several times during the week and weekends. At my request, Liz designed the kitchen and living space to accommodate these growing girls. Liz listened to my list of wants and my list of dislikes. Her expertise in translating what I wanted into the final product made every dollar spent totally worthwhile. She and her assistant, Megan, worked diligently with the cabinet maker (who was excellent in crafting the streamlined cabinets) and the contractor, who was great from the first day of demolition to the finishing touches. Megan did an excellent job of tracking the budget and coordinating construction details with me and with the various workers, who trekked in and out to install, build, whatever was needed to be done. When I remodel my upstairs, I will undoubtedly call on Milima Design. A bonus: Liz and Megan are very nice people who are easy to talk to!
