Initially, when I contacted Jan of J Harrington Construction Corp, I was looking to undertake what I thought was a fairly straight forward, modest bathroom remodel. As we worked through the details, it took on a life of its own! One year later I have the most beautiful master suite; bathroom, walk-in closet and bedroom encompassing 800+ sq ft. . From the beginning, Jan was on board with my concept and requests and worked within my budget and limitations. She offered good ideas and alternatives based on her many years of experience and there was always a consideration for practicality which I really appreciated! A construction project of any size can become stressful and take longer than we'd all like. But in the interest of quality work and a finished product everyone can take pride in, it was worth it. There were no loose ends or punch list items not addressed. Every trade completed their work and was held accountable by Jan. I wholeheartedly give 5 stars to J. Harrington Construction, Corp!

When my family purchased a home, we needed to completely renovate one of the main bathrooms because the tile floor was broken, there was a rusted tub with wallpaper (no shower!), in other words completely unusable. I researched Jan's company, among others, and at the interview I could tell she was professional and her advice on how she would do the renovations was exactly what I wanted. Her team showed up on time, and I could tell they took pride in their work. Whenever I had a question or concern, Jan addressed it immediately. Jan had given me an estimate and payment schedule, which was adhered to, unless I requested an upgrade, for which she gave me an estimate. We have since used Jan's company for painting, and I can honestly say I now consider Jan a friend as well as a go to person when I need work done on our home.

We started with a limited list of changes to update our house, not having a larger vision for turning out house into the home we've always wanted. After beginning slowly, Jan opened us to greater possibilities that transformed the entire look and feel, while better meeting our needs without tearing down walls and breaking out budget. Her team of sub-contractors are professional, personable and proud of their work. Through them, Jan delivers on what she promises. We plan to work with Jan again on more home improvement ideas after the first of the year.
