Michael Pretty Architects has designed and built projects in all sectors of the Construction Industry for both private and public clients. These include housing as well as extensions, retail, leisure, industrial and offices, which extend across the whole of the UK including Yorkshire, Cornwall, London, and Prague in Czech Republic. The practice has successfully designed managed and built large buildings and complicated domestic extensions in sensitive areas throughout the country. Many projects due to their listed status or sensitive situation have required careful and detailed negotiations with various Local Authority Planning and Conservation Departments. The practice is used to working closely with clients to establish their design requirements and has carried out many feasibility studies that have developed into live projects; some with funding from the National Lottery. Michael Pretty Architects is designated a Chartered Practice as it meets particular criteria set by The Royal Institute of British Architects. The practice can provide a full architectural service from conception to completion and can if required provide a partial service to cover design and planning work only.
