Great experience from start to finish . Mike was great with helping us with color selection and was even able to salvage parts of our wood that we initially thought had to be replaced . His team was professional and courteous as well . Will definitely recommend.

We just had our floors done by Floors by Val and Michael was great and knowledgeable; he helped us selct the right flooring for our lifestyle. His team finished our floors in one day granted we only had a little over 450soft but they were professional and the quality of their craftsmanship is amazing. If I had a bigger place I would definitely hire FloorsbyVal again. When I had a question /concern, he was quick to respond and clarify; he was also quick to rectify. My husband came home and loved the finished product. we highly recommend them.

Mike was super with communication throughout the process, did quality work with tile instillation, and addressed any issues that came up immediately and effectively. Mike is a really nice, honest guy who is easy to work with! Would definitely recommend for all your tiling/floor needs!

We are so thrilled with how our floors turned out. Michael and his crew did an absolutely beautiful job making 4 different types of wood look cohesive and advised us on the best way to handle finishes, colors, etc. Some of our wood is original to the house and is 100+ years old, they knew exactly how to handle them with the gentle care they needed. Not only was their work stellar, but they were completely reliable and transparent with pricing and what actually needs to be done. Highly recommend them and will absolutely use them again for other projects. If you’re on the fence, go with Floors by Val.

It was such a pleasure to deal with a professional who understands customer service and delivers top quality work. The floors on my 80 year old house look brand new (better!) We had one glitch, the circuit breakers for the upstairs tripped after the sander was used. Was this a problem? No Way. Immediate response was, if we can't figure it out, our electrician will come take care of whatever the problem is. And that's what happened. I am not sure what was better, the beautifully finished floors or the customer service. Wish I had more floors to redo!

Michael and his team were such a pleasure work with. From the moment Michael came to my home for a free estimate, to his responsiveness to my many questions via text (even on weekends), to promptly providing all the paperwork I needed to give to my building management, to his team completing my 1200 sq ft apartment in two days, and more. He made the process so easy and was flexible when we needed to change the date bc my floors didn’t arrive on time. He was just a genuinely nice guy to work with. What a great job his men did. It is perfect. He put down a new floor in the dining room, living room, hallway and vestibule. He also installed another floor for my kitchen. He installed 1/4 round molding around the perimeter . Absolutely perfect. Not a spec of dirt was left. I'll surly be recommending him to anyone I know. Also, the price for the job was very fair.

Mike is the absolute best professional when it comes to flooring. He knows what he is doing! Under Mike's excellent supervision, his team did a tremendous job with our highly compromised flooring. he went above and beyond to fix several problems that came along the way with our flooring. Mike made a very complicated job look easy. Not only was he transparent about the whole process, he also ensured high quality result. Work delivered by Mike was extraordinary and we cannot appreciate him enough for it. We are doing business with Mike agin, starting next week :)

Floor tile install

Michael’s team did an amazing, cost-effective install of new tile in my kitchen, bathroom, and entryway. Michael kept in contact with me the whole way and was always easy to reach. I felt I could trust Michael to make decisions to keep costs down while maintaining a very high quality of work. I will absolutely call him again before my next project.

I recently hired Floors by Val to install porcelain tile in my basement. So glad I found them and very happy with every aspect of the job ! Michael was great to work with in planning the job. Very responsive and helpful in recommendations on how the job should be done. This was a fairly large job ( 1200 square foot area plus a small bathroom). The crew did a great job. Clearly very experienced at flooring. Very meticulous, excellent workmanship, spent a lot of effort making sure everything was leveled perfectly and completed the job on time as committed. I highly recommend Michael and Floors by Val.

Mike worked with us to refinish our downstairs floors. We decided to replace some tile and carpet with hardwood in several rooms. Mike was incredibly professional, patient and calm in helping us understand the process and make decisions. Mike went out of his way to show us many color combinations so we would be comfortable with our final decision. Mike was available to respond to many inquiries throughout each step. He is very kind, personable and his employees did excellent and fast work. We found his rates were very reasonable. We highly recommend Floors by VAL and hope to work with Mike again in the future!
