Medley

I saved up for 2 years to buy the Mota bumper sectional. We've had it for about 9 months now and I'm pretty disappointed. First, the fabric that we chose (and was recommended for pets) feels so uncomfortable and the texture makes my skin crawl (think gauze). The cats is so attracted to scratching it and pet hair clings to it and it pills like crazy even in places we don't sit. The fabric is the smart aluminum fabric for reference. Second, their foam cushions tested positive for LEAD! You can look this up to find out more, but it is an issue from the foam supplier. They notified us via email and we could choose to order replacement cushions. I ordered them 2.5 months ago and still no update or ETA. Meanwhile my family sits on these blanket-covered couch cushions (see aforementioned pet hair, pilling and texture issues) and I can't stop thinking about how I saved up for so long to purchase the least "toxic" couch I could afford and it contains lead. Finally, there are a bunch of nails (pointy side) sticking out of the bottom about an inch from the front of the couch. I found this out when my young son cut his foot on one and was bleeding on the carpet.

It was a pleasure to work with your company, from inception, to the end. Laura is a consummate professional who knows her stuff, is creative and understands client concerns. I was astounded when my sofa arrived; it couldn't have been more beautiful. I am comforted to know that I made a smart environmental choice and was rewarded with excellent design and craftsmanship. I got an upholstered chair and it has no chemical smell and is attractive & high quality. It’s so hard to find nice non toxic upholstered furniture and Medley is a great resource especially if you have chemical sensitivities, they are committed to being non toxic with quality control. I have bought Pottery Barn Greenguard teen bedroom and it smells so toxic for almost a year I can’t use the room, so I won’t trust Greenguard again as there is no quality control at Pottery Barn. Medley is the only store that I found I can trust not to outgass chemicals that is high quality beautiful furniture.

Hi. Medley is the Best company I’ve ever bought from! I’ve been shopping for 20 years buying many online things/furniture for my home, but discovered many things are toxic at other places. So I searched for nontoxic products, and needed a sofa, I was so thankful to find Medley! There are few places that exist, but most were too expensive, except Medley. Thankfully their prices were more affordable, I was able to get two different sofas made from organic cotton! One was extra large, I love the styles, colors, comfortable. The people there were incredibly nice as they helped me pick one right for me. Also later, I was amazed at how willing they were to help me with other issues too, they were so generous to keep me a very happy customer! I’ve love talking to them, and their furniture is wonderful! Thank you so much Medley.

Top notch company. Provided patient helpful guidance with the disign of our sectional which was delivered professionally and in the promised time frame. We are thrilled with the quality and how pure the components are for our health and the planets. It is extremely comfortable and beautiful. Have already had to remove a stain - blueberry no less on a white couch- and using a baby wipe, as advised, it is no longer visible! I requested new taller legs to accommodate our roomba and they are being made for us at no additional charge! Great service!!

If the couch came to us undamaged, I would have given it 5 stars! However, there was a tear in the back of the fabric with sharp metal sticking out, and the base has "drop damage" where the wood is ruined. Customer service says they will fix it, but it took a lot of pictures and phone calls to address the fabric issue and we are still waiting on a base resolution more than 8 months later. I have to continually follow up with them and get very confrontational answers. What a headache. Not worth it.

I love my sectional. I was nervous buying online but they were great and it came out beautifully. I got the Mota Bumper XL and love that I was able to customize it for the size of the space.

I'm happy with every stage of the process. I chose Medley because of the high quality fabric and filler choices. My finished sofa exceeds my expectations. It's beautifully made and is extremely comfortable.

My experience with Medley was superb. Their customer service was efficient and timely. The turnaround time was great, given all the COVID craziness circumstances. We absolutely love our new sofa. It seems very well made and is as comfortable as we hoped it would be. So thankful to have a quality product, made in the USA.

We are so happy that we decided to purchase from Medley. My husband and I live in Canada and were searching locally for a healthier option for furniture (no flame retardants, no offgassing, etc) and couldn’t find anything. We stumbled upon Medley online and really loved what this company stood for. We ended up buying 7 Rio pieces from them. The design process was straightforward (Thank you Laura!) with lots of options. We even had swatches delivered to us several times to help us decide on fabric. We just received the couches and are honestly blown away at how beautifully made they are. You can tell they’re built to quality and the fabric is stunning. We chose the certipur foam with down pillows and it’s very comfortable. There was a bit of a wait I guess because of covid, and then because we live in Canada. Kevin was amazing at informing us many times about the delay and when we would expect to receive the couches. Awesome customer service from the entire team at Medley. We will definitely be purchasing all of our future furniture from Medley, and we highly recommend them, whether you’re from US or Canada!

Absolutely amazing experience and product. I loved all the information on the site, the complimentary design consultant (sent her tons of photos of my space), asked lots of questions on fabric care (it's all so durable and beautiful). From fabric samples to the finished gorgeous couch, and everything in between (eco conscious, no off gassing, small biz!): love this company and their products.

Medley is the best furniture company, especially for the chemically sensitive. They would be the first place I would go to if I need another piece of furniture in the future. The customer service is personally concerned for the customer's individual needs.
